You guys are true pros. Love how you guys pay attention to every little detail to make sure you have everything in your favor to be able to get to that buck and make that shot happen. It's tough enough trying to find a buck like that on highly pressured public land, but to be able to make that stalk and kill that buck in his bed and get it all on camera was just beyond amazing. I bet not a single celebrity "hunter" can walk into a public area, find a nice buck, and make a stalk to kill a buck. They all hunt over a food plot or private land with no pressure whatsoever and act like they're pros. They got nothing on you guys. You guys are on a whole nother level.

Just found this channel and I am now binge watching these episodes. There is so much more detailed information that I picked up by watching you than any other "pro series" hunters (team Realtree). I hunt public land as well (White River Marsh - Berlin, WI), and you have taught me everything that I'm doing WRONG (I'm in a huge hurry to get up in the stand, make too much noise and sweat too much). I 100% support your channel and every little detail you include about your hunting strategy and why it works. Thanks so much. Congratulations on a beautiful mature buck!

Sometime you watch vids and you are left with nothing but criticisms, sometimes constructive ones. Once in a while you see a video that goes perfectly and I am left with nothing to add. Exactly forty years of bow hunting and, after watching this, I have nothing to add but praise. Fricken well done amigo! That was exciting to watch and a joy to share. The jubilation as you ran back was as good as I could’ve offered. I’ve been there. I know exactly what that feels like and feeling it again is a gift.

Congratz Zach! Beautiful animal! Please don't take this wrong as I do enjoy the treestand hunting primarily because you involve us in the strategy and what you are trying to accomplish. But watching a well thought out and executed ground hunt like this was a thing of beauty to watch and so much more fun. Plus, the skill it takes getting that close, even in a ghillie suit tops watching another treestand video any day of the week. I think that is why I enjoyed this episode so much. Pulling off an old school hunt like this is what sets you guys apart from so many others out there. And I'm really hoping that we're going to see some footage of Greg hunting with the longbow and how that compared to the way he normally hunts and what adjustments he had to make to his hunting style to accomodate the longbow.

There are a lot hunters that cannot sit on private land in a $2,500 blind with a $1,500 bow wearing $1,000 in camo with a $300 Ozone machine over a plot built with $20,000 worth of farm equipment that was accessed in a $10,000 electric golf cart/UTV. You give the average hunter something that is actually realistic to achieve. It is great to see your guys success since going on your own. Keep up the good work! To the team trying to make it happen a big congrats. What a team effort. My favorite part was after you seen the bucks legs in the grass instead of rushing across to show your trophy you were solo excited to run back to your hunting buddies and get them so y'all could share the moment together. Excellent how-to and again the walkthrough and recap at the end really put the story together. A lot of good camera angles from multiple points of view and the result once again was hard work pays off. Well done I look forward to the next adventure.

Wow, you guys are killing it. By far the best hunting videos on the tubes. Has me stoked for our opener...I am counting the days. 9 nights until opening morning where I am. just set up my treestand in the pole out in my yard to make sure I'm all good to go. Have a MONSTER scouted out, kicked him out of a bed on Sunday , really appreciate the video guys. Makes counting the minutes almost bearable lol.

I could watch these videos everyday! Another awesome episode guys! I also love how you guys aren't caught up in the "score of the antlers" like so many other channels. You boys are all about the fun, comradery, and making memories! That's what it's all about. Same up here in the U.P. of MI. With all the pressure from predators and some of the harsh winters, I'm happy with a nice 2.5 year old 8 point. Keep up the great work THP!

Zach, congrats on that Buck! That Hunt was so bad ass! I’ve been debating with friends for the past few years here in Wisconsin, that it’s totally possible to take a buck on the ground wearing my ghillie. I’ve done ground sits and had does within ten yards on multiple occasions. Over the years I’ve found KZbin videos from guys like Mark Anthony and the Bow ninja, who have multiple deer kills on the ground. This is just more inspiration for me to try to get it done on the ground this year. Also your point about bumping deer, I’ve bumped many deer walking into stand locations on public land here in Wisconsin and on my uncles farm in western NY. I’ve seen the same deer filter back into their beds sometimes 20 min after I’ve gotten set up and sometimes a few hours later. I’ve never believed mainstream hunting media Mumbo jumbo about if you bump a deer your hunts over.

Keep a soft grunt tube if you bump deer hit that grunt and be still I have had more than one deer spook and then I grunt and they have come back in for the shot I can stop deer almost every time just keep wind in your face and use scent control it’s harder to keep your composer when your on the ground with a deer in your peep sight .
