As a farm kid you are alot more thankful for the gifts that you get. If they are toys you don't get to play with them very often because you are working. So it's alot of fun to play with them when you can. Great Christmas kids

Alan, you remind me of my dad the way you were sitting there watching your family opening their Christmas gifts. He would sit there and mom would oversee the gift giving and unwrapping. If I recall I think it was she who always picked up the mess we left after opening our gifts. She also prepared the Christmas dinner too. Things we took for granted perhaps. The spirit of giving and receiving and the love that flows within your family shines as a beacon for all to see. Thank you so much for all of your videos and for all of the wonderful memories you have brought to life. I don't have to say that I hope you all had a Merry Christmas because it is written across the faces of all of your children as they open their presents. Farm kids see the work that goes into earning a paycheck, rather than watching mom and dad go off to work while they sit in the house and play video games all day, so they are much more appreciative for what they have.

If you ever get the chance to get a round baler with processing knives in it, get it! Less waste in dry hay, and can give you different options for bedding as well. Gives you an option of silage baling hay that is "pitchfork- able" as well. Just something to look at for the Wish List.🤔😯👍
