Even among music fans these guys are severely underrated. A shame, because they made a lot of great music.

This band is fucking legendary, a true hidden gem. I feel bad for anyone in the audience who knew who these guys are and just wanted to hear them.

this very well could have been the last time Bedhead played "I'm Waiting For My Man" live. A year or so later, we were in Berlin where they had switched to "What Goes On"...and when the German audience called for an encore, they had played all the songs they'd rehearsed...but the crowd at the legendary KOB nightclub wouldn't quit so they played VU's "What Goes On" again!!!

I was at this show. One of the best bands ever that never really get their due.

To the poster, is that the WHOLE set?? Also, I think Bedhead faced this kind of indifference their whole tenure. I saw them on their last tour ever(w/ Macha), in fact, it was close to their last show ever. There were only about 25 people there that night, and most people didn't really pay attention to them, even though they were the headliner! They were a quiet fucking storm, and it's too bad, they were only appreciated by a select few!!

I saw them several times. I remember sitting Indian style with a group of friends at The Argo in Denton. The whole house was entranced. Silent. Still. They were an amazing band. Such good memories.

I definitely saw them in Austin a few times at the Liberty Lunch opening for other bands and they definitely got the indifference treatment. I think one of the shows was opening for Superchunk circa '94 where kids basically sat on the ground mock yawning and my friends and I joked about kicking them in the back because the crowd was fucking lame.

There's a way lower quality version of them playing "bedside table" on youtube and the description box seems to indicate that they played that song as well, at least?

Unpredictable Landlord is just an amazing song.

Do you know where a full video of this set might be? There's another way lower quality video of them doing Bedside Table supposedly at the same venue that I'd like to find a HQ version of

Dallas audiences have mostly always sucked, especially compared to Austin. Sad, but true. Great bands in Dallas! And many have been much more successful than a lot of Austin bands. But the audiences in Dallas...whew...when they are bad, they're awful!
