Thank you for sharing your story Annette! I'm also from Europe and even though I didn't do the program, I want to acknowledge that with Miguel's free content I went from bed bound to walking again. It was such a catalyst for me because that's how I believed there was a way out. After exploring the nervous system regulation world I'm thriving again. One thing that I missed in my journey is community, in a sense of a small group of people with the same goals and understanding. So happy for you and if you happen to travel to Greece I'd love to meet you. Thank you Miguel and your team for helping people see the light again!

Wishing you continued success and happiness on your path to recovery!

Thanks you for sharing your story and the reminder that it starts with the internal work. I just joined CFS Recovery Academy and my instinct is that I need to jump up and physically do something and. I feel guilty about it. But for 21 months that has not been working, which is why I’ve committed to this work. So I’ve been waking up and listening to these recovery podcasts first thing before I even try to get to the kitchen. 🙏🏼💜

Thanks a lot Annette! I like when she talked about her love for dance. Her face lights up. But she explained the small steps. 1rst going in, staying a little an then going back home. And she did this for 1 month! Very consistent! I know your videos Miguel they are very inspiring. It's like she really saw herself in your own personal story too. With struggles and all the symptoms, thinking of dementia. It's a great interview. Thanks for giving us hope. And the way she enjoys life now, so precious

thank you so much for your message. It was very hard work to stay on track and not overdue it when it comes to introduce dancing. when you see something in front of you and you haven't been outside for months but you cannot just go for it you really have to hold yourself back you must be be patient and see it on the long run. going through this the right way was a breakthrough for me. also the dementia thing was very real unfortunately and i had this very long. forgetting names, what i wanted to say and lost track in conversations. but hars work pays off :)

Don't worry, I've had it for 23 years and others have had it for even longer and still recovered. Finding your personal way to have faith and believe seems to be the biggest part of the puzzle. Some people believe with diet, others with relationships, others with stopping the internal fixation on forcing things to work. Just ask yourself what sorts of things you'd need to believe in to get better, and start doing them consistently.

So wonderful to hear that you're going on a holiday to a different country soon Dan! It's a great opportunity to take a break, explore new surroundings, and enjoy some time for yourself. Traveling can be challenging, especially when dealing with chronic illness, but it's important to celebrate the progress you've made and take moments to appreciate the positive experiences. Remember to pace yourself, listen to your body, and prioritize self-care during your trip. Wishing you a rejuvenating and enjoyable time away!

I'm glad you found the video helpful! Dealing with chronic symptoms for a long time can be incredibly challenging, and it's understandable to feel stressed. While supplements can play a role in supporting your health, it's important to approach your well-being from a holistic perspective. Alongside supplements, consider exploring other strategies such as stress management techniques, lifestyle modifications, and seeking professional guidance. Finding the right balance of approaches that work for you may take time, but don't lose hope. Stay open to learning, experimenting, and adjusting your approach as you continue on your journey towards better health. We are here to support you!

Thanks Annette and Miguel for sharing this 🙏 It's easy to be happy for you and the great progress you made so far. Lovely and truely sympathetic. Keep on moving forward.😊 When I see recovery stories where a rigorous exercise routine was one big piece of the buildup and I see that people tend to go in the same direction while recovering I ask myself what is the "goal" here...to live the same life like before or to be a better version of yourself where you take better care and be more in tune with your body?! Not to say that I have that feeling while listening to you.. I have to ask that question myself after relapsing 2 times..😅 Sustainability sounds boring but it's key.. ❤
@cfsrecovery
@cfsrecovery Жыл бұрын
Thank you for your kind words and thoughtful reflection. It's true that recovery journeys can vary for each individual, and the goal may differ from person to person. While some may aim to return to their previous lifestyle, others may focus on building a healthier and more balanced life that prioritizes self-care and listening to their body's needs. Sustainability is indeed a key aspect of long-term recovery, as it helps ensure that progress is maintained and relapses are minimized. It's important to find a balance that works for you and to set realistic goals that promote overall well-being and stability. Keep exploring what approach resonates best with your body and needs, and remember that progress is a personal journey.

@@cfsrecovery Hey Miguel. Thanks for your reflections on my post.🙏 Yeah you're absolutely right..progress is a personal journey. I recently saw a short video where you talked about how you exercise nowadays..so in between the day little chunks of fitness without an excessive routine..I liked that. Yeah one has to find out for oneself what feels good longterm.. I only know for sure that extreme sport as a maladaptive coping strategy for difficulties in other life aspects doesn't work..only adds more stress in the bucket. 🔥 On the other hand we don't want to become scaredy-cats 😅 And I think partially it's a question of age too..what are our priorities.. Perhaps it all comes down to being and feeling good as the whole human beings we are and realigning and staying in tune with our bodies. Cheers and have a nice day 👊
