If I had that big window and all of that sun, I def would have those shelves in front of the window so the plants can get better light. It looks like some of the plants are reaching for more light, you have shears up so they won't get burnt.

I tried the shelves in front of the window but it obscured the light a little too much. I'm able to fit more plants in my room in this configuration. It's a continuing experiment tweaking the conditions to optimize the environment for my green roommates.

Hi what is the trailing peperomia plant at 8:49? It’s gorgeous! I have a ruby cascade that isn’t nearly as lush and the leaves are shaped differently, so I don’t think it’s the same.

Are plants are beautiful and by the way I'm not sure whether you have a dehumidifier or not I know in the South a lot of people don't have basements but if you do have a dehumidifier you can use that water instead of the distilled water to water those calatheas or your other plants. Also if you let the water sit out for 24 hours the chlorine evaporates but unfortunately the fluoride is still in there unless you filter the water then I think if you use one of those water filters pictures that you just pour the water into and it filters that I think that might take out the fluoride

7:34 That’s probably a peperomia rugosa. The next one is columbiana metallica. 8:06 Those are peperomia meridiana, I think. I also see them called Hoffman or hoffmanii in Latin.

That's where all my grow lights are from. I'm not a big fan of the pink undertones, but they last forever and don't require much electricity. I've noticed NO difference in my utility bill!

Lovely as always!! So enjoy visiting your plants. Looks like that unexpected Purple Scimitars is making itself at home! At least that's what it looked like it was on the left side of one of the shelves. And I think I've actually mentioned it before in another video lol but that green and reddish purple backed trailer (you said it was a Peperomia) coming down the front of your shelves is magnificent!

The Peperomia rubella is, hands down, one of my very favorites. It was an adorable little upright plant when I first got it and then it grew into a magnificent personality. I highly recommend it. :)
