Fairchild Botanical Gardens has an annual plant sale and these are some of the treasures that I found. I'm very excited. Next year, I'll try to share footage of the visit and not just the plant haul. Enjoy!

Ok, I need to move to south Florida. I’m so jealous of the plants and the prices you paid for them. It’s double, triple the price here in over priced California (not that we have any of those plants here, but if we did).

Great haul! Love that cissus , the texture and shape is excellent and it seems to grow very fast for you. That Rainbow eucalyptus is incredible! Must be very exciting to grow it. Thanks for sharing.

I love the cissus. It's both delicate and succulent. I can't wait for it to grow.

Thank you! I'm absolutely thrilled. Next week is the south Florida Plantapalooza and I can't wait. I'll bring a wagon this time and hopefully get some decent video exploring the unusual plants there :)

Beautiful plant haul, I'm super jealous that I don't have anything like this where I live. That Calathia is such a beauty, and the price was a steal for a plant that size, I will be hunting for that one for sure. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you! I'm so lucky (or unlucky from the perspective of my saving account) to live in this area!

I have many plants I bought over the years from Fairchild Gardens. My rainbow eucalyptus is now 10' There is also a little nursery that has sales four times a year near Fairchild that I buy from as well.

Is it Ree's nursery? I spoke with the owner at the show. I wanted about 20 of their plants. Unfortunately, they don't take cards and I didn't have my debit card or cash with me. I'm hoping that they're at Plantapalooza this weekend. I'm coming prepared. :D
@@toulouselachat yes, I have 5 or 6 plants I bought from Marie at Rees tropicals. Are you in Broward? I have plants that I trade

Fun fact of your new Gregori Hambali: the "sand" on the leaves that you're referring to at 5:12 are actually produced by the plant. They're called growth sugars

How are all these plants so cheap :o

I got so lucky. Most of the vendors were wholesalers and their prices reflected that. I love the south Florida plant shows :)
