Jus a little fun fact about those dream catchers over your bed, originally native people used to hang them over a window so when dreams come in at night the bad ones will get caught in the web and the good ones go though the center into the room. js thought you'd like to know a little about them. lol

I absolutely love her bedside table book stand (yes I'm a book freak) I looked at the room decor haul where she first introduced the stand saying it was from Bed, Bath, & Beyond. I never said that Joanna Bickford was bullying elle, I'm saying that you can't just use "freedom of speech" as an excuse for negativity or bullying in GENERAL, which is what you seem to believe. Saying a room is little girlish or that a car is ugly isn't necessarily bullying, but it IS spreading negativity, and why waste your breath on something negative when you could be saying something positive? Thats my thought processing anyway, you seem to believe different. Your room is pretty similar to my bedroom at my parent's home-grown up and mature. Similar bedding, similar colours-it's very similar to what my mum did with my room. She even got me a tiny dress form for it at Christmas but I couldn't leave it there when I live in a different city all year-it came back to the flat I share with my future husband...

Elle's style is very Marie Antoinette inspired!!! Seeing how Marie was the last queen of France and was very well known for her elengance, beauty, & Style!! I feel like Elle is *our* generation of Marie Antoinette. And Elle, if you do read happen to read my comment, I think your pegboard to hang your necklaces on should be right beside your dresser. I think that the necklace holder should go by your book shelf. For your blank wall by your bed area, I think a long mirror would look really good. It will make your room feel wider since you said it's long and skinny. Love you room btw

I'm 25, decidedly not a 'girly-girl,' & my bed will always be covered in stuffed animals. I'll always surround myself w/ awesome things that I love. People who need to "grow up" are the ones too scared & insecure to be themselves b/c they think it won't conform to some image they feel compelled to live up to. There's no such thing as being too young or old for a bedroom or decorating style. This room's unique, comfortable, charming, & great. It says a lot (of good things) about its inhabitant.:D
