OG KZbin beauty guru. This whole part of KZbin wouldn’t have existed without you and Blair. Whenever I think beauty guru, I always end up thinking of you. I used to watch your videos in 5th and 6th grade, learning everything I could. I would watch this collection video over and over, taking notes and inspiration. Now I am 23 and I still love makeup, but I have to admit, I learned my techniques back then and haven’t really branched out since then… if it works it works.

WeirdEldy I absolutely hate people bashing hate on youtubers, but I do agree with some of the comments (not the snarky ones) about the amount of makeup. The amount of money put towards this makeup can feed at least 50 starving children throughout the world. Some people are in bankruptcy and struggling to pay hospital bills! Though it's alright to treat yourself and everything, I don't think you need an excessive amount of, say blushes, if you will only use 20% of your collection. It's a huge waste, not to mention the packaging being thrown away. If you have an everyday concealer you use, I say go for it. But other unnecessary products are not needed all the time. I am obsessed with makeup too, I know how fun it is! But we should put different priorities to where the world's money is sent, especially if some palettes are only going to be used three times.

No hate, but I just don't understand why people have so much makeup! Just because when you have opened them, the expiration date usually last only a year, and I can only imangine how much people have to throw away. I just see it as a bunch of wasted money. I think people only need a couple of different primers, foundations, highlighters, bronzers, blushes, and eyebrow stuff, because there isn't much colour differences, but nice to have some for different weather and ocations. I can understand having more eyeshadows, lipsticks and glosses, but 100 different pink shades is for me just ridiculous! And do you really need 40 different powderbrushes? It's crazy...
