I paid u$s 370 for this bass in USA. Basically, the same price range that you pay a Squier. Quite honestly, this bass sound, looks and has featues of an instrument around 800 - 1000- bucks. IDK how Cort put this thing together for such cheap price, but kudos to them, I am a new Cort fan now.

Amazing right?
@BBarNavi4 жыл бұрын
Cort takes the parts designed for other brands and builds one in their own name, sub par wages and all. And they're REALLY good at building, despite the rock bottom costs and materials. My first bass was an '01 Squier PJ made by Cort in Indonesia. It sticks plays decently with a few adjustments.

Just jammed one of these at the local shop today, was initially there eyeing up a Squier Vintage Modified J-Bass, but tried a bunch of others out including this. All I can say is DAMN that's a lot of bass for the money! The feel of it alone blows everything in it's price range out of the water! Will likely be going back to purchase very soon! ($750 New Zealand Dollars for this vs $799 for the Squier)
@helloitsnicko5 жыл бұрын
Yeah man! Sorry it took me two weeks to reply to your comment... Did you get the Cort? I like a Squier, but honestly if this is on the table it’s a no brainier. Way more versatile and honestly just put together better, and made of better parts. 💫
@MeetLocalSingles5 жыл бұрын
@@helloitsnicko Haha that's all good dude, cheers for the response! I was also very interested in a wicked LTD with a spalted maple top, but this sounds better, feels better, is 3/4 of the price, and the active/passive switch gives it more versatility, so I've made my decision. The Cort is going on hire purchase now that I've started a new job this week! Think I'll re-visit that LTD in the 5 string version further down the line

@bedroombassist most inexpensive instruments seem to be made in these locations, but I find that the quality if manufacture and care put into the assembly of those from Indonesia to be much better. Or, perhaps it all comes down to a killer set-up. Still, the price on an instrument like this is pretty killer. :)
