Gotham and Mogami are both solid. Matter of taste. Klotz isn't in the same league.

I had my whole rack hooked up with this cable. zero mechanical noise , cleanest and brightest DI signal I ever recorded. it helped lower the noise floor of my rig until i no longer need to use any noise gate . my guitar cable is made of mogami 2524 too, it had been ran over office chair for 5 years plus and still working flawlessly.

Gotham sounds ordinary, it's not bad, everything's okay . Mogami is brighter to me ,but at the same time it has such a "body" , tightness, this is the most universal one . And Klotz has that warmth, roundness if i can say so. I like it, but that kind of sound is not for everyone and it's not for every occasion i think

Gotham most definition and balance, Mogami almost there on definition, but with more body in the lower midrange. Klotz (or is it Klutz in this comparison?) well.. good if you like noise. Unbalanced as it is on strumming, but when the pedal hits, one can barely make out the chords. Very helpful video!

setelah bertahun2 pake mogami sekarang pingin coba gotham.. saat2 tertentu mogami terlalu 'rame' detailnya di upper harmonicnya klo pake gitar single coil..

It sounded like if the Klotz sound samples uses a different pickup combination/position.

In fact, all of them use the same setting. I was surprised as it's an original Klotz. I've tried to swap the direction and the result is still less mid high.

Gotham and Mogami both sound outstanding to my ears, very close in tone whether clean or crunchy. Klotz... not so much.

Is that Gotham the Ultra Pro one? Or the 1000x model, the capacitance difference between them is about half. I pick the Gotham

bukan soal bagus atau enggaknya, tapi memang beda karakter.. gotham dan mogami relatif sama-sama lebih warm.. gain nya hampir sama lebih powerfull, mid centrix, tebal kalo klotz karakternya lebih bright, V-Shapes, tipis tapi tetep sweet.. jadi sesuaikan dengan karakter dan selera kuping masing-masing..

Mas..apa pasang jack nya untuk klotz terbalik? Ikuti arahnya sesuai merk...misal tulisan di kabel KLOTZ..yg K itu jack ke gitar, yg Z itu output ke preamp/amp. Kabel itu sebenernya punya arah meskipun jika pasang terbalik itu sama sama bunyi, tetapi di berbagai kabel ber merk terbalik arahnya ada juga yang pengaruhnya signifikan.

Kalo panjang kabel nya antara mogami vs gotham dan klotz samakah? Waduh saya juga baru beli klotz ac106 belum saya pasang/solder beli dari toko musik sby jg. Tapi lihat video ini jadi ragu juga untuk pakai 😀😀.
