Haven't used them yet with my classic rock band but from messing around with them at home I'm VERY impressed with the quality of the sound, construction, and ease of use for the money. I also purchased that Mooer P1 effects pedal with the wireless footswitch and plan on using that with an acoustic country trio I also work with that will allow me to play some electric guitar as well without the need to lug around an amp. Hey Scott , this is a very informative post. I’m thinking about purchasing one of these loopers, but since it has a built in tuner, I’m wondering if it will be as effective as a tuner when placed at the end of the pedalboard where a looper is recommended to be placed. I currently have my tuner pedal first on my pedalboard, as recommended. Any thoughts? Thanks🤘
@ScottUhlMusic Жыл бұрын
A looper can be at the beginning or the end, depending on what you want to accomplish, but looping at the end usually makes the most sense. It would be fine at the end, just don’t have any pitch based effects enabled when you try to tune 👍

There is another version of this pedal? If it had two buttons that makes it less compact but easier to use, so that’s probably up to you to decide which is more valuable 👍
@saintjabroni8 ай бұрын
I believe there are technically 3 different Lekato loopers. What sucks is this particular version has the Sync feature but only has 3 banks, while another Lekato looper version has 9 banks without the Sync feature. Both of these versions I speak of have the LCD/tuner aspect. The 3rd version is more plain looking with no LCD/tuner (not investigating it further). I *hope* both this version demoed and the 9-bank version (non-Sync) have the same playback sound quality, as in verifiably to the human ear, not just on paper. This video demo demonstrated what sounded like better quality (on par with the live guitar tracking the loop) than other video demos going over the 9-bank version. I will pull the trigger on the 9-bank version and report back. EDIT: The 9-bank version HAS a hidden Sync feature(!!!!!).

When you record different loops from 1 to 2 to 3, can you record loops on top of those too? Hence it would double up or even triple up. OR, are you only allowed to "jam" over the three set of loops after you record them once. Whereas, when you record only one loop or phrase, you can record as many loops on top of that as you want?

@alissonwilker7 ай бұрын
@@ScottUhlMusicAs far as I understood from the video those loop entries (1, 2 and 3) can be played sequentially, one after the other in any order. But when you switch from loop 1 to loop 2 for example, then loop 1 stops playing. So it seems like they can't overlap each other during playback or recoding. Overdub would be an alternative, but in that case on a specific audio file (either loop 1, 2 or 3). Right?
