@@LoudandProudBSE patiently waiting. Man I'm loving this truck. Can't wait to see it on the ground and roll out of the garage.

Excellent work! When removing the carbon tube from the shaft I started to wonder how the composite thermal coefficient of expansion compared to steel. It appears that carbon fiber strands have a negative coefficient which tends to cancels out the resin so the result is something that is nearly stable. So cooling the two may slightly help in removal of the cf tubes. Polished aluminum bar (McMaster 2655N16...) might work even better with the larger coefficient delta compared to steel. Anyway, cool stuff! This makes me want to make something out of carbon fiber.

You could make a couple of tabs through the cab to bolt the front of the bed sides to the cage, just to keep the front supported and it won’t move under heavy loads

Cabs on bushings... beds rigid mounted. Cage is solid and clearanced for the cab to float around it the 1/4" of plate

@@LoudandProudBSE you could cut slits into a rubber material around the tabs so the cab will still be able to move around, just in case you run into the bed moving down the road. Great work as always.

Convenient that the bedsides were even the right color! lol Gonna leave the 4x4 stickers on it? haha If the front bar that ties the side together is just tied from one side to the other, could the whole bed move? I'm kinda picturing shorter rods to a bracket in the center of the back wall of the cab, so that they are both mounted rigidly. Or am I overthinking it?

Cloooooseee to the right color. Everything will be getting a fresh paint job of Torch Red when its done. No 4x4 stickers or chrome pepboys trim lol

The diagonal bars lock it forward to back. The triangular bars make it pivot around the axis of the ground link (the short mount on frame). A link between the two sides stops them from rotating and removes the last degree of freedom.
