I have 5 bee castle hives. I started with them last spring. They are holding up well. They have a very nice nuc box as well.

the finger gap wont really cause an issue once the bees propolise stuff youll be glad you have that finger gap makes getting frames out wayyyy easier i do that on all my boxes you just need to watch when they draw out wax at first and move fully drawn to the outside from the inside otherwise they will draw em weird

It's wax coated so what good is the glue for. The viewing window shows only the outside frame which you know hardly has any bees on it. Just a gimmick.
