Thanks Joe! Love the stuff you bring to the beekeeping community that is outside the same ol same ol. This is a great little thing that I’m gonna give a try. Anyone who’s moved boxes and had them fall apart and gotten their socks stapled knows the value of it. Especially in hot summer nights when the propolis is soft and sticky but not enough to hold everything together. Thanks again and have a Merry Christmas!

Thanks for showing us Joe. I like that better than nailing staples into the bottom board & brood chamber. Another thing, 1.98€ is $2.25 U.S. Making those clips will save a lot of money. Tomorrow morning first thing I'm heading to the garage to make a few of those to see how they work.

Joe you are a wealth of knowledge and practical advise. Have a Merry Christmas and thank you for sharing this stuff with us all. As an aside note -That little 90 degree mod you did to make it easy to undo the spring, does it not raise the risk of the spring being bumped accidently and coming undone? The original lays flat and it would be hard to accidently disengage it in transit was my thinking?

may be a little but the pressure would have to be down to make it come loose.

Thanks Joe. I appreciate you and your willingness to share. I want to try a few of these clips, but I can't find #11 ga. wire anywhere. 12 is the largest I have found. Are you sure it is 11?
