How long can they go without a queen???

Sadly, not very long. I'm surprised it hasn't happened yet but the workers will start laying eggs most likely. Since they are sterile, they will only produce drones, male bees. Since they need help with everything, the hive will just die off as all the females start to die off. I've already noticed an increase in dead bees in my pool.
