@TallyRocky, probably the cancer treatments. That nasty disease takes a toll on your body. My brother had it and he looked so hin and frail during his kemo treatments. His is in remission now. I wish Robin were still with us but he isn't suffering anymore. 😢

Maurice was my favorite because he was so mysterious and handsome. He truly was the middle man ,Barry and Robin always struggled between them for who got the attention and poor Maurice was always in the middle of them too battles . So we never really got to know him but don’t get me wrong, I love each of them they are all very talented.

I agree with you I really feel for Barry Gibb it must be so devastating for him to lose Andy Maurice and Robin so young Barry really loved his brothers so much Barry has a loving wife and children and grand children who have supported him in his sorrow

Yes, they did exactly the same thing in the '91 This Is Your Life interview when Andy's death was mentioned. Went from smiling/laughing to deadpan serious instantly.

Oh yes...Robin suddenly looks much older and drawn since our Maurice had passed...worse thing is, he Maurice was not even ill...he actually looked so much stronger and happier than he ever did! And oh so very handsome..that smile... dear Mo ..I have so real and true...my heart 💜 still hurts over Maurice Gibb..

I know I keep crying just thinking about it. I heard Robin say in an interview, that Mo's death was his (Robin's) equivalent of 911. 💔💔💔😭 I loved all 4 of the Gibb brothers but beautiful Maurice was the one I had an real attraction to, a total tender spot for. He was so likeable and so very beautiful. His smile was outrageously gorgeous.💖🤗 His loss was a great tragedy😢💔

Yes it was heart wrenching. He looked as if he might burst out in tears if he had to say a word. I saw another interview when he said that Maurice's death was his (Robin's) equivalent to 911. My heart broke for him as well as at both his and Maurice's loss way too soon. But they will never be forgotten.

It is so difficult to watch this interview knowing that Robin passed away without having a chance to hold the concert together with Barry. I think the most difficult part for Barry to loose Mo is the joy and laughter that Mo gave in every concert. Mo often teased Barry and make him laugh. I bet it is difficult for Barry to perform on stage remembering those good times. While mourning Mo, Barry did not realize that Robin was also in pain and vice versa. Both of them coped with it differently and without Mo, they can't solve their differences. It is even more painful to hear "Sydney". So so sad 😭

Poor Barry. He just took one emotional hit after another. Loosing Andy, loosing Maurice and then loosing Robin. In 2021, his niece Beri who was extremely close to the brothers suddenly died as well. So much sadness...

The Bee Gees debuted with their first studio album in 1967. Calling it a 50th anniversary in 2009 was a big stretch. That would imply that they were releasing music in the late 50s alongside Elvis and before The Beatles. Just no. Didn’t happen!
