Agree. I’m really not a fan of covers, of any group’s. I’ve just never liked them. To me they’re second rate. If you’re a fan of the originators of a song you want to hear the song from them. I honestly think hearing a cover is a singer’s pleasure, not a fan’s. It feeds their ego to hear someone else singing your song. But for the fans, they only want the Bee Gees to sing them. Certainly not Demi Lovato, who murdered that song. I also don’t like that they gave their songs to other singers for the same reason. The Bee Gees should’ve been the ones to do Heartbreaker.

It has to be hard losing 3 of your brothers and being the last one left. I'm really glad that Barry's wife convinced him to get back on stage and keep The Bee Gees legacy alive. For all those that are interested many of us that were 14 -15 at the time in 1977 and were too young for the X rated movie (18)Saturday Night Fever,we still managed to get in the cinema by hook or by crook whether it was paying someone to help you get in or the older looking one of you bought all the tickets or you got someone to open the fire escape at the back of the cinema we got in. Saturday Night Fever was probably the no1 movie of all time for young people around the world at that time. Through the message by the great acting of John Travolta ,direction,script, production and more importantly the music of The Bee Gees it hit the bullseye and spoke about our lives at that time. If you were young at that time and watched the movie ,you knew it was a great time to be alive.Thank you The Bee Gees,Robert Stigwood,John Badham and John Travolta and cast.God Bless you all. The Bee Gees music will last for eternity along with the great composer like bach,beethoven,The Beatles.

My opinion, today's music is okay, but it is no where near as it was back then years ago. Anthony Mason is my favorite person to interview noted talent. He always delivers an insightful and enjoyable experience. He's a modern day Dan Rather. He did an excellent job with Barry Gibb and I LOVED it when he interviewed both the Monkees and Paul Stanley. What classic interviews those are. I like the fact he offered context to Barry Gibb here, after the interview, by stating how far he has come in the past eight years. Barry Gibb has been such a glum personality, and for good reasons, so it was heartening to hear that. I wish him nothing but the very best. I hope he can live life without so much grief.
