Robin said in an interview that this was about brother Andy through and after he and actress Victoria Principle broke up. She went through a lot of his addiction and trying to get sober and finally said it's me or the drug. He relapsed again and she walked away. He managed to get sober and was cocaine free for a year before he suddenly died. The video of them singing this outside in New York under the Brooklyn Bridge is the best in my opinion. It's so moving and both Robin and Barry's voices just blew me away. Love your reactions.
