"How Deep Is Your Love" is a pop song written and recorded by the Bee Gees in 1977 and released as a single in September. Originally intended for Yvonne Elliman, it was ultimately used as part of the soundtrack to the film Saturday Night Fever. It was a number three hit in the United Kingdom and Australia. In the United States, it topped the Billboard Hot 100 on 24 December 1977 (becoming the first of six consecutive US number-one hits) and stayed in the Top 10 for a then-record 17 weeks. The single spent six weeks atop the US adult contemporary chart. It is listed at number 20 on Billboard's All Time Top 100.[1] Alongside "Stayin' Alive", it is one of the group's two tracks on the list. The song was covered by Take That for their 1996 Greatest Hits album, reaching number-one on the UK Singles Chart for three weeks.

When you consider that the 70s was so stacked with current and future hits that, with all genre's of great and legendary music, you HAD TO give up something. There was a truckload of great 70s music that had to wait until the 80s so they could FINALLY punch through that wall of legendary tallent as Zeppelin finally started drifting away as well as Pink Floyd, The BeeGees, and more.

How deep is your love? How deep is your love? I really mean to learn 'Cause we're living in a world of fools Breaking us down when they all should let us be We belong to you and me I believe in you You know the door to my very soul You're the light in my deepest, darkest hour You're my savior when I fall And you may not think I care for you When you know down inside that I really do And it's me you need to show How deep is your love? In 1965 I was on a TV show in Australia called Saturday Date with my band the Librettos, and that same day, the Bee Gees happened to be performing on the same show. Preparing for the show, we were placed in a dressing room next door to the Bee Gees when all of a sudden, we heard a beautiful version of ‘Mary Had a Little Lamb’ coming through the wall. Just 3 voices warming up in perfect harmony. We liked it so much, we went and knocked on their door and introduced ourselves !!! 😀 True Story 👍
