"I Can't See Nobody" is a song by the Bee Gees, released first as the B-side of "New York Mining Disaster 1941". With "New York Mining Disaster 1941", this song was issued as a double A in Germany and Japan, and included on the group's third LP, Bee Gees' 1st.
It was written by Barry and Robin Gibb in 1966 towards the end of the family's time living in Australia. Maurice Gibb has sometimes been listed as a co-writer for the song, most notably on the compilation Bee Gees Gold. According to Nat Kipner, the song was recorded at St. Clair Studios. Robin has said that it was written in Brisbane, Australia, where the band toured in November 1966, but that the first version was not released.

Robin gets tickled when a fan trys to take the stage and get to him. Maybe it's just me but Robin was the heartbeat of this group, his voice carries the true emotion of every song he sings. When management changed their course during The " disco era " I couldn't relate.

It's wonderful to see all the comments from people who appreciate and love Robin Gibb. I loved the Bee Gees early output and am sad when that era of their music is overshadowed by their later disco sound. It was all brilliant...but nothing beats this song and Robin's amazing live vocal. This may be the perfect version and I never tire of it. Miss you, dearest Robin.

@@sweetg12651 Actually, a fan was trying to get on stage and security had to rush over to that side of stage (Robin's right). This account has been given many times over the years. Remember in the video, Barry is on Robin's left and Maurice to his right which was their standard stage positions. This is my favorite version of this song...live or recorded. Even though Robin was amused, he and his brothers never missed a note while security was doing their job. Absolute professionals!

Yeah. It's just so weird. I can't exactly explain it. Objectively Barry is more classically attractive but I'm obsessed with Robin for some damn reason. I think it's his vocal talent and his unusual personality combining to act as some kind of bizarre magnet for me. It isn't something I experience often this....whatever it is. Charisma I guess is the word.
