LOVE the Beegees! And also Andy....So sad how the pressure of success and excessive drug use caused him to destroy his life. So tragic! 💔

Sooo sad -A God given talent- Blessed with many great gifts with an amazingly gifted and talented, loving famous family, who earn't their fame and fortune and at the same time have left behind a legacy of aspiring love in the songs and music they have shared with us all-All for one and one for all -This is Australia-never to be devided -never shall we fall.

Maybe he couldn't end his addiction and became so depressed,he gave up. Addiction is a hell of a thing.

Didn’t join the Bee Gees because he didn’t want to be known as the youngest of them. That’s all I remember about him. Also, he used their contacts and music and musical style.

He was my favorite Bee Gee and when I heard the news it was like I had lost a dear friend.

This Andy Gibb guy just like Elvis would have been better off not becoming famous - Elvis talking about himself said he should have been a truckdriver - This guy Andy Gibb was too young to handle the fame - This is an excellent video about the price of fame.

Sometimes they need tough love, once people get hooked it's so dam harm to try and help them. He should of never got involved with Victoria Principal that was bad news, she just hurt him. R.I.P. Andy Gibb.🌹🕊️🌹🕊️

You blame her? He started his antics and drug abuse way before she came along. Blame his parents and brothers! They gave him the silver spoon.

'It was not enough'? That suggests that he needed more. The thing is that it's not in what you have. When you have enough to have a good life, anything more will just make you unhappy. Owning stuff does not make you happy.

I'd heared of him but didn't realise he was so successful as I'm from UK & his music was not for me, far preferred Amy Whinehouse who sadly died aged 27.

Sadly it seems his family became enablers, and he had no discipline growing up. Behavior, that is often deemed “cute” by negligent parents when children are young, isn’t cute when they carry on with it into their teens and adulthood. What a sad waste!

You can overcome a spoiled childhood, given the right circumstances later on. Having global success built on what (to me) is rather flimsy talent, didn't help his cause. A tragic case, as he comes across as very open & tender-hearted.
