The Bee Gees will never be forgotten. I, personally, like Robin and Maurice most. They brought the magnificent harmonies to the group and harmony is what makes the Bee Gees songs a cut above any other artist. I listen to them every day and I will never get tired of their smoothness and deep meaningful lyrics. I miss you guys!!!!

I researched why he drank and. he said it started when he was marries to Lou Lou that was all they did because she wanted to go Clubbing every night ..... When they stopped clubbing they didn't have anything to talk about .... Sad , However he saw his wife where she worked at the studio and said to himself i want to spend the rest of my life with that girl...... He did.....Barry and Linda just celebrated their 50th year married..... They lived together 3 years before so I guess it makes it 53 years for them..... Great Family .....

Mo, what a great man! He admitted his mistakes concerning alcohol and said he gets to go to AA every day. He said alcohol is Deadly! Very different from his younger days, it destroyed his first marriage. Very sad.

Yes, I was reading about Stephen & his addiction. The trouble is, children do watch & learn from parents. Some go the right way, some do the same their parents did, especially men. Stephen said he was homeless, eating out of dustbins. He got, & has stayed clean, but I did wonder what help Barry & Linda gave him. Barry was fortunate to have Linda, who would not put up with him doing drugs. Andy really is a tragic story. In all the videos I've seen of him, he looked haunted. As the youngest brother, I do think he felt a bit left out. He blamed Victoria Principal for his addiction, but she left him because he would not stop. I've had a close friend die of alcoholism, another of a drug overdose. You can try to help, but they have to want to get clean. I did all I could, including getting her into a good detox & rehab place, but she drank even more afterwards. She just dropped dead one day in her home. I eventually could not have my female alcoholic friend visit me. I don't drink, smoke or do drugs. I drank too much as a teenager, but it was because of trauma, & I did stop. Thankfully I'm not an addictive type of person. Maurice is my favourite. He just had such a lovely smile, a great sense of humour & laugh. It's so sad he gave up drinking & then died about 11/12 years later.

There's a short video clip on KZbin of Barry talking about it. Barry said something to the effect of ..."While it may not have been the right decision, I would have worried too much about him out there on the streets." And that it was part of being a parent that you will always be protective of your children. Now I'm thinking that video was made after Stephen had gotten clean? Anyways, I watched it on KZbin several years ago. It may still be out there if you do a search.
