They were definitely on the same coin as the Beatles were, but on the other side. Both were English folks from the North West England, with The Beatles coming from Liverpool, and The Bee Gees coming from Manchester, both made pop and rock, (though the Beatles are mostly well known as a rock band and the Bee Gees as a pop group), both were born in the 1940s, both started as skiffle bands, both were funny guys, both adopted the same haircut during the 1960s. They got more things in common with them than the Rolling Stones did! It's just good to know that they were not rivals on the music charts in England. There are few things that distinguish those bands. And one of them is that the brothers were raised in Australia, and they started their career as kids, whereas the Beatles started their career as teenagers. Meanwhile the Beatles were active for only 2 decades, the Bee Gees were active for exact 6 decades.

I saw the Beach boys live and they were so disappointing because they could not replicate live the production.tone, sound of the music that they "manufactured" in the studeo. Listen to the Bee gees on interviews when they sing with 2 guitars and nothing behind them. No one else has ever done that

@@mollydog413 I love the classic Beach Boys as well as The Bee Gees. But if you saw Mike Love’s version of The Beach Boys, that’s not the real thing. Brian Wilson is not what he used to be but his band and the show they put on is definitely better than Mike’s.

Is Robin a bit slurry here? It also seems he has other things on his mind here. I'm convinced Robin started to be unwell before Maurice passed 😔. There was just something a little different. Once he cut his hair he wasn't as relaxed or goofy. Was it Dwina? Was it the housekeeper? Was it his health? Robin sweetheart what happened to you? We lost a bit of our Robin just before Mo... then he went down hill. Slurring his words more often laughing less. That makes me so so sad. I want to go there and hold him and tell him he is truly loved, ❤️
