Fascinating item! So "real"...You don't always play big, prestigious venues. Sometimes you get to play in parts of the world that will not accrue your fame & prestige, but are good for your bank balance. Trying to do your best anyway. Audience-shy George Harrison loved the polite, disciplined Japanese fans.

Li Lise , You are right, George was a bit frightened after the American tours. It was very crazy then. He was my favorite Beatle. He was gorgeous and very talented. ❤️🌹❤️

@@kn-dv3it There is a video on KZbin featuring pictures from one of their Japan concerts. Wonderful pictures, especially of Robin. Unfortunately nearly all of them are in the negative, so you mostly see white, blurred images! Do you happen to have them/ can you supply a link where we can see them properly? Thks! 💋

@@ernestermiddlefield7050 Well, their disco era was maybe three albums (none of which were all disco) and what ? Twenty songs tops? Bands go through different phases especially a band with the longevity of the Bee Gees. You will of course like some of those phases better than others. It seems that the Bee Gees and only the Bee Gees are perceived to have acted in a morally culpable manner by doing so. They most certainly had no idea whatsoever that the music they made for a pretty low budget film was going to take off as it did. They were a songwriting team who wrote the songs they were hired to write. Somehow it bugs people to no end that they did not act in the way none of us would ever dream of doing ourselves, namely work for no pay. I loved their early stuff myself but I don't think I'd listen to 40 years of big melancholy ballads. That would signify to me that they were stalled creatively in the event that anyone was still listening. Anyone here been watching Gary Pucket and the Union Gap much these day? They were very successful in the 60s and turned out quite a few hits that all followed the same formula and they got left behind when tastes began to change because they were one-trick ponies. I'm glad the Bee Gees were not afraid of change and I utterly respect them even though I enjoyed some of their work more than others. Even failure is better than not trying.
