One of the best songs ever written by one of the very best song writers ever, and sung here in one of the best music videos ever recorded. This song is magnificent. Very complicated technically and musically. The harmonies are exquisite, perfect. A very sad thing that Barry is the only one still living. The likes of these musical geniuses will never be seen or heard ever again. Still listening as writing. Tears in my eyes because of the message and my experiences, but also of joy as this song talks to ALL of my senses. Okay, back for another listen. Never tire of this.

This album was the 15th album to be released by the Bee Gees in January of 1979, which marked the Brothers 20th anniversary as a professional group formed in 1958. Oldest brother Barry Gibb was 12 and his younger brothers the twins Robin Gibb and Maurice Gibb were 9. The magic of the brothers voices goes back to when they were children singing to their parents radio or their Mills Brothers records, in the 50's.

The Bee Gees were my father’s favorite group. He recently passed & today I was feeling his spirit. I began to play some of The Bee Gees greatest hits & just thought of him the entire time. I cried a little because I miss him. These songs are also special to me because back in the 70’s when the term daddy daughter day didn’t exist, my father took me on our very 1st daddy daughter day to see the movie, Saturday Night Fever & of course we know the soundtrack was filled with non other than -The Bee Gees music. Rest easy my sweet father. I love you forever. ❤ Miss you terribly.

THANK YOU, SO VERY MUCH FOR SHARING THE LOVE YOU AND YOUR DADDY HAD FOR EACH OTHER. I ALSO LOVED THE BEE GEES. THEY WERE ONE GROUP THAT WILL NEVER COME AGAIN. SIMPLY CLASSY AND THE BOND THAT THE BROTHERS SHARED JUST GRABBED AT MY HEART. IT WAS SAD TO HEAR ABOUT ONE OF THEM PASSING. I THINK ONE IS LEFT NOW. GOD BLESS YOU, MONICA. I've been listening to this maybe 30 Times in four days and analysing what this song means to me. First of all, very few songs start via chorus and if so, it tell's that composer(s) have had their mind very clear message for listeners. It's not necessary in purpose, but when a song developes this amount of emotions, their own feeling must have been right from the beginning. This song has many very deep levels of meanings and chorus is a statement and same time a prayer for the people/humanity, not only between man&woman, for the sake of love. It's a statement against hedonism and very real in these days, you know. Interestingly, Barry and his macigal performance clues this same message to be also between man and woman, respect and adore the love between you, cause that is all that matters. There is so much emotions in Barry's vocals; praise of love, longing for my woman, tenderness and easiness of what love and relationship should be and what's most astonishing to me is that, this song is actually a cry for true love & caring of each other. If anybody doesn't feel the same, it's okay and when I speak about love between woman and man, it doesn't mean that I'm against of rainbow couples. Truly, I'm not. I just tried to analyze the song thinking that particular time it was made. Today it's different, but the message is still clear: Respect love ❤️

Nobody gets too much heaven no more It's much harder to come by I'm waiting in line Nobody gets too much love anymore It's as high as a mountain And harder to climb [Verse 1: Barry Gibb] Oh you and me girl Got a lot of love in store And it flows through you And it flows through me And I love you so much more Then my life, I can see beyond forever Everything we are will never die Loving's such a beautiful thing Oh, you make my world a summer day Are you just a dream to fade away? [Hook: Barry, Robin & Maurice Gibb] Nobody gets too much heaven no more It's much harder to come by I'm waiting in line Nobody gets too much love anymore It's as high as a mountain And harder to climb Verse 2: Barry Gibb] You and me girl got a highway to the sky We can turn away from the night and day And the tears you had to cry You're my life I can see a new tomorrow Everything we are will never die Loving's such a beautiful thing When you are to me, the light above Made for all to see our precious love [Hook: Barry, Robin & Maurice Gibb] Nobody gets too much heaven no more It's much harder to come by I'm waiting in line Nobody gets too much love anymore It's as high as a mountain And harder to climb
