This was very emotional to watch & touching to have it be known, that after years of "making" it, they still remained without ego! This is absolutely beautiful and so touching! In a day and age when most artists feel entitled to all the praise, the Gibb brothers showed real class and humility by sharing their award with their mentor! They really looked wonderful, too. Barry is so handsome, and Robin and Maurice are just adorable as always. I've loved these guys and their music for five decades now and will continue to love them till the day I die!

Well said, friend! I am too completely hooked by the Gibb brothers and their music. They are such gentle, great guys. Their voices melted perfeclty together into heartwarming harmonies, which are unmatched to this day. And to me their songs are some of the most well written pop songs of all time. The Bee Gee music more specifically the harmonies between the brothers help me with my Meniere's Disease. I found this out because I thought I would go deaf..so I started listening to all my favourite music. These voices and songs stop the symptoms within moments...No other music does this. They have been a blessing and this award is well deserved and not surprising to me. Their work is extraordinary!

Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band movie as well as other requests such as for Otis Redding they wrote the song To Love Somebody. They sang Greece during their later concerts also while honoring Olivia Newton John as she was in attendance for several of their concerts.

Es verdad compuso el tema principal de Grease, pero To love somebody la compusieron para Stigwood a pedido de este señor, lo dijo Barry en una entrevista en 2001, la cancion fue grabada en abril de 1967 y Otis fallecio en un accidente en diciembre del mismo año, es lo que he leido y visto en varias entrevistas, la cancion es muy bonita, y eran muy jovenes cuando la hicieron, yo tengo 68 años y sirmpre los escuche, pero pir youtube fui guardando mucho material, mas que nada entrevistas de los tres juntos, y por separados,solos, Maurice no se callaba nada, era honesto y muy sano, Robin tambien y muy inteligente. Fue un grupo muy bueno,pero me gusta su etapa de lis 60 y comienzos del setenta, el falsete no me gusta,saludos!😊

Hi, I just had to interject here:. It is well documented that the BeeGees sued Robert Stigwood for unpaid loyalties - Robert then countersued for $300 million dollars for slander. They didn't speak except through lawyers but thankfully it was all settled in the BeeGees favour. The boys and Robert made up their differences and continued to work together. Says so much about the character of the boys and Robert.....

Yes, their mother passed away Aug 2016. She's interned next to Andy & Hugh at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Hollywood Hills, CA. Barry's really good friend David English also passed in 2022.
