You have achieved a perfect balance of fun interactive pieces and plenty of journaling space. Much as I love some of the "bursting at the seams" ones, I find it nearly impossible to envision how they would be used; yours leaves plenty of actual journaling space. Lovely.

@@sunshinefactoryje ne connaissais pas ce type de création. Je trouve votre carnet pleins de poésie, de rêves, c’est tellement bien fait. J’imagine le temps que vous avez passé à le créer pour une personne aimée ! Et j’aime les pages où cette personne va compléter votre œuvre. J’aime cette idée de suite pour que ce carnet ne soit pas qu’un simple objet que l’on range dans un tiroir. Je ne comprends pas bien l’anglais, désolé. Pour moi, c’est plus qu’un simple carnet, on pourrait y écrire une poésie, y rajouter des documents très personnels lettres, cartes d’événements spéciaux etc… et même de vieilles photos ? Ce sera comme un jardin secret. Une bricoleuse de France.

I love your tea dyed paper, I actually like that it's not so deep coffee colored.. would like some info on how you accomplish that?

Thanks! I don't like it too dark myself, so I put the paper into a bath of tea, but only for a minute or so, and then laid them out in the sun. I do it when I'm making a big batch of iced tea for myself. So I think the trick is not leaving it in the tea for too long. Now that the weather is getting nicer, I am going to experiment some more.

It looks like you've also tied your signatures into your Journal, not just the Sari silk?

I sewed the signatures together...pamphlet stitch, I think...and then when I was making the spine, I laid down the Sari silk vertically, covered it with the black and white fabric and glued that down. Then I tied the end of the Sari silk to hold the signatures into the book. I hope that explains it ok!
