What a wonderful journal! And you added the red colour so well, it looks absolutely perfect. I never thought of it before but you're right about how tricky red is to work with, while watching I tried to envision how I might attempt it in a journal but absolutely couldn't do it. Hi Tracy! I love making journals and giving them away as well. They are a lot of fun to make! No worries, I think that your sister will love this journal. You can tell it was made with love! I love to make those 4 pocket paper crafts. I have put them in a lot of journals! No one could be bored with watching, if they love junk journaling. I watch so many different talented people. I enjoy it so much! I am so addicted to making journals! I love having lined pages in my journals. It is very helpful. Let me know if you would ever be interested in journal swaps! Aw, you are so nice...thank you! Have you ever made a writing board or pencil board (I think they're the same thing)? I need to figure out the best way to do that. I would love to participate in a swap!

@@sunshinefactory When I make a writing board, I use chip board so it is nice and sturdy! You could also use a cereal box and just glue two pieces of that together, then either paint it or just cover it with some scrapbook paper to match the journal. I try to add one to each journal I make. They are really nice to have for sure. For the journal swap, we decide if we want a theme, or just make a journal to swap, what rules if any and so on. I have been a part of 2 of them so far and they are so much fun!
