I appreciate you so much for doing this especially with the comparisons at the end. I have never understood the obsession with Lion With a Thorn In It's Paw because I do not like light blue polishes, even with shimmers. I now get the obsession due to the shimmer, but still not feeling Lion. Seeing the same shimmer in other base colors is awesome! Teal? OMG YES. Dark Blue? SOLD! Any and very shade of purple? TAKE MY MONEY!! I can't get enough purples, blues (I know, ironic since I avoid light blue like the plague), and teals. I appreciate your lining them up with similars so I can tell which ones to get or search for in respawns or destashes.

I really, really appreciate how you show all your swatches in all different kinds of lighting!! It makes it so much easier (or harder, lol) to pick out which ones to buy! The group customs are not necessarily Lion siblings, right? Some look similar but not the exactly the same

I don’t think the customs are Lion siblings. The Hamster polish is a multichrome but the flakes are similar to what’s in the Lion polishes. Glad you love them!!

I don't know when it happened but BKL releases became one of the events I looked forward to so much at the end of each month! I usually exercise restraint from buying a full blown collection but oh my goodness, all the Lion sibling polishes have captured my heart and I can't wait to get the whole collection!! These polishes are all so pretty, the holo is everything. My favorites were the first group of four you showed in your hand in the sun. Wow haha yesterday I was looking to see if you scheduled the video for this collection and I was surprised that you dropped it this morning! Not complaining though XD I think I like the darker and the more vibrant shades. So the greys and the light blue is out. Rumpeld*ck skin is pretty but I already have The Fire Girl and they look too similar for my taste (thanks for the comparison!). So 10/14, wow that’s still a lot. Oh and my favorite is Familia es familia. That color is just beautiful. Also excited about the group customs! The large particle multichrome with colorful reflective glitter is actually my favorite formula from BKL, along with their shimmer formula. Definitely getting Marwa and Hamster.

BKL edited the description in the fb event & it now has the pigment bleed warning, along with saying 'QDTC not recommended'.. I'm so confused because I've hadn't heard any swatchers mention that issue until today 🤷‍♀️ I'll still be buying the full collection but it's making me reconsider getting Backups of the Purples, because I always forget to switch to a water based Topcoat & forget which shades bleed 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

Personally I didn’t…. That’s news to me! As you can see in my video, the QDTC didn’t affect these. I even wore Dark Lord for a few days and I didn’t experience staining or bleed. But maybe in time they will? I’m not sure but I didn’t experience any bleed.

Hi, I'm probably one in a million who's not that excited about this colection - I have two holos flakes polishes from their previous collections and it looks like I'm more inclined toward their other finishes. But I'm still looking for a sunny yellow from them, but last ones polishes in their collections all lean green. So will this look yellow on my light skin or it will lean toward green too - in person? There was a polish Bees Knees made called Lion with a Thorn in its Paw. It had the holo flakes and a certain shimmer. So siblings to that mean same shimmer and flakes, but different base color

Agreeing with the other reply you got but want to add that Lion with a Thorn in its Paw was a VERY popular polish. People were collecting all the polishes with the same finish so now the creator of BKL has now made an entire collection featuring the same finish. I only mention this cause it might seem odd to have a whole huge collection of polishes with the same finish if you didn't have the back story lol.
