Just getting back into mountain biking after a 25+ year hiatus. Looks like Beech is better maintained than Sugar.

That’s awesome man! I wouldn’t look past sugar tho. I personally think sugar is more fun, lots of great tech, and they have one of the best blue trails in the state.

Great video! 🔥 Do you have any tips for the step down at the end of Canebrake?

Thanks! From what I remember, most of the jumps can be done at trail speed but wouldn’t hurt to put in a few cranks. They are pretty low consequence so you can over or undershoot w/o too much trouble.

If you are talking about the one that has the little gap after wooden roll in, I would go slightly slower than trail speed

Would you say it’s running? loose over dry or hard packed
@Simpsonjd182 жыл бұрын
Yeah it was a bit loose when I was there but it hadn’t rained in a few weeks

If it rains decently like a day ir two before you go and then go on a sunny day its pretty great where its on a pretty clear cut mountain side the sun dries most of it pretty quickly. If its been dry for a good week it gets pretty loose on the clear cut areas. Woods are kinda mice at all times as ling as its not soaked.
