LALALI is a wordplay for the korean word Nallari which the lyrics described as boys who are stubborn or who don’t listen like this lyric “you cant compete im LALALI” 7:21 “im concerned on your ability to make music” excuse me??? one of the svt members woozi produced this song and i do not accept the disrespect. woozi has won the best producer awards and trust me, you shouldn’t be concerned about his ability on making music. this reaction was not it. this is a straight up disrespect and hate to the members.

im always reading the comments first before watching the vid, lalali is my fav hiphop unit song from svt and i was kinda waiting for yalls reaction to it, but after reading the comments HAHAHHAA never again. PS. If u watch their mouths during lalali you can see them mouth nalari. Also in one part there is a sign that changes from lalali to nalari. They are basically saying you think I'm a delinquent so let me show you a delinquent. Anyways, at least you got me thinking on this song all night. Enjoy your day young men.

I've seen people not liking this song, at least not as much as others from hiphop unit like Monster or Fire, but I also think we non koreans loose a lot by not getting from the get go what they're refering to. It all ties very well with the music video so watching it you kind of get it, but the fact that we just hear lalali and not the actual korean word meaning is inevitably going to create a different feeling. Kinda like BSS's song Fighting were they just subtitled it like fighting, yeah, when in fact in korean it has more of a "you gotta do it there's no other way" kind of implication that adds a little something but that's normal with any translation I get why some didn't like it as much, I also think it's more fun if you get some of the references that go into the song, lyrics and video, but yeah, it's not for some and that's ok

This song is such an homage to 90s hip hop. I'm disappointed that you guys were so harsh the way you were talking about it. A lot of the disses in it though you would need to understand it from a Korean perspective. A lot of the imagery in the video also. The hip hop team writes their own lyrics. Woozi of SvT produces. These guys are heavily involved in their music so you are actually disrespecting them. It's perfectly fine to dislike a song though. Just if you want to mock it make fun of, educate yourself first...or don't say things like, no disrespect. Carats didn't usually mind a lot of joking around but just not about the music itself.

Yes, the wordplay and lyrics are actually really great, but like almost all Korean songs with good lyrics, unfortunately, there is a TON lost in translation.

Giving it a 7 because you don't like one of the words they're using but you don't even understand what the word means is crazy and 'nothing against seventeen we're not attacking them' but you are as you are attacking their producer (Woozi) who is also a member of seventeen and the other two members who are in the hiphop unit and helped in making it (S.Coups and Vernon) saying 'i'm concerned of your ability to make music' so it kinda seems like you have something against them and you're making fun of the word lalali as if you could make anything good with it saying lalali lalalu and you don't even know what it means and the word is basically the whole description of the song as it stands for delinquent and it matches the vibe of the song and the hiphop unit and if you aren't going to be respectful about it just dont listen to kpop anymore cause lalali is a korean word and korean is the language they speak and if you were this disrespectful to them and the song for just one word I doubt you will like most kpop songs.
