One thing I learned in my Airforce days you NEVER touch the prop. He's hanging on that thing... never never never.

Right , because an ungrounded mag can get you killed in less than a blink !! And although there are two pitot tubes, can't both of them ice up leaving you with no airspeed ??

Never touch a prop?? Wha?? U know one needs to turn the prop before starting, right? Icing isn’t the only failure scenario for the pitot system.
