Yep, gotta be quick to climb away but its rare to land in the BO as it works very well facing east (ish) in the morning sun, you can go XC from as early as 7am!! I'm told that anyway, I'm usually still in bed 😂

hey Ollie nice vid and glide format Im always looking for gloves wth good grip currently using the mechanix impact for cold weather flying a bit over protection on back side but well wearing and tough i use a fingerless firmgrip [homedepot] for warm weather and simon murphys neoprene barmits if needed on both i periodically spray performix super grip for excellent grip and collects no dirt or grass havent tried sailing gloves theyre always gripping rope anyway that my 2 cents be safe be well bob hunt

They are the brand "mechanix" and its their "Grip" gloves. Very good but also very lightweight and the vg rips through them easy! They're close to being perfect as soon i will find the perfect pair! Thanks for watching and commenting :)

@@oliverchitty thanks for the reply, where is the best place for hang gliding in your opinion, I live in Perth WA currently which is useless (nowhere to take off nowhere to land) On my way back to UK to live (when virus allows) going to have lessons at South downs hang gliding

@@andymccann2716 there is quite an active WA hang-glider pilots groupnon facebook, seems like they get out on most weekends? Matt from south Downs is great and you're in very good hands, where in the UK are you moving to?

@@oliverchitty I did an introductory 1 day course with Matt, he was great (video is on KZbin) there aren't many places to go here apart from off the beach, which unfortunately doesn't do it for me. Looking to move to Devon although a part of me thinks we should give regional Victoria a go, It's just that I've had enough of WA and possibly Aus in general
