Beef Curry | Bangladeshi Style Beef with Potatoes

In this video, I will share an easy way to cook Bangladeshi style super delicious beef curry with potatoes.
INGREDIENTS
3 lb Beef with bones and little fat
2 lb Potatoes cubed
1 cup Onion paste
1 tbsp Ginger paste
1 tbsp Garlic paste
1 tsp Turmeric powder
1 tsp Chili powder
1 tsp Cumin Powder
1 tsp Coriander Powder
2 Bay Leaves
3 cinnamon sticks (0.5″ long)
4/5 Cardamoms
4/5 Cloves
1 tsp Paprika
1 cup Chopped Shallots
1 tsp Salt (or to taste)
1 cup oil
PROCEDURE
1. Mix and set aside the following ingredients for 30 minutes
Beef with bones and little fat
Potatoes cubed
Onion paste
Ginger paste
Garlic paste
Turmeric powder
Chili powder
Cumin Powder
Coriander Powder
2. Heat oil and add the following ingredients
Bay Leaves
Cinnamon sticks (0.5″ long)
Cardamoms
Cloves
Chopped Shallots
3. Fry until shallots are golden brown
4. Add marinated beef and mix well
5. Cover and cook in medium low heat for 45 minutes to an hour until meat is 80-90% tender. Stir often.
6. Add water and potatoes
7. Cover and cook in low heat until potatoes are cooked.
8. Add green chillies and sprinkle toasted and crushed cumin
9. Cook until gravy thickens and oil separates
10. Serve with plain white rice or naan
