I don’t think I’ve ever laughed and cried this much from a KZbin channel in my entire life. 😂😭 Watching your videos brought back so many childhood memories for me as a first generation Filipino/American. I remember my Mom and my aunties cooking up a storm in the kitchen & cackling along in Tagalog while us kids were wild, playing hide and seek and running around the damn house not understanding a word of what’s being said. Lol Man, I wish I would have learned how to speak Tagalog as a kid but now as an adult I’m grateful that my mom took the time to teach me how to cook each and every Filipino dish that I loved while growing up. Language can be a barrier but AMAZING FOOD & PEOPLE are the bridges to connecting us. People will forget what you say but they’ll never forget how you made them feel. I really loved your content mama lulu, as i grew up no one in my family can cook; our food rotates to cornbeef, adobo. century tuna, fried tilapia and chicken, sinigang and takeouts in Jollibee. And I graduated at a culinary school, so my basic skills and bias are all mashed up leaning to french, italian cuisine. I use to watch Cooking with Grandpa when he was alive and he would do his southern style meals, cheap eats, etc. Mama Lulu envokes his spirit in this video because of the conversation between you and her.
