I come from a hispanic family and mom taught me it don't matter how the meat comes in the store because it's the fact that it is still sitting in its own juices in that package so its mandatory to wash regardless

I dont think its mandatory, its a choice, i normally dont wash coz it gets watery, if your talking about bacteria or any other forms of pathogen? They get cooked with the meat😂

Just tried the pork intestine, suprised by it, was really good. You indeed, even cleaned bought have to clean it a couple of times. Favorite dish is pigsfeets but elevated, you cook in herbs for a long time, pluck the feet, then shape in a medalion, freeze and fry it off.

I never thought to boil pork belly first! I am going to try that. Would boiling it also work for a pork leg? Before you roast it? I might try it next time I put on a roast. Inilalagay nya lang ang taba tapos nilalagyan ng asin.. tapos yung oil ng chicharon ay nilalagay sa malaking garapon at iyon ang gustong gusto naming ulamin sa mainit na kanin , lalagyan ng patis with maching saging...
