Mammah! I used to always ask you for some steak and you say Ummm Hmmm and made me Beef Liver Steak Onion Gravy sandwich. #PolloWang

I make my liver & onions just let like this. Whenever I told my kids back in the day that I was making it for dinner my 2 crazy Sons would do the “booty” liver dance (yes that’s what THEY called it! 🤭) until I fell on the floor dying with laughter!!! Their booty dance was twerking to their own beat box music because they were so excited for their favorite meal! I always made it with whipped mashed potatoes and fried corn. My white coworkers couldn’t understand why my children loved liver like that! Today on 4/7/24 I was requested to make it for Sunday dinner for my Son and his wife. She’s pregnant with their 3rd child and she requested it with rice. This meal has stood the test of time with my children. And as for the beat box music they used to make one grew up to be a music producer and a DJ who played for Snoop, Busta and interned with DJ Funk Master Flex and the other kid launched an amazing record label and is a real Boss and he managed his brother’s career! I’m so proud a dem. And will keep making good liver for the family too! 😎

Thank you so much for sharing this I I made liver and onions for first time just like this using your recipe but cooked bacon before cooking the floured liver. Came out amazing and was a hit with family I love it and flavors were slammin.
