My problem is that my husband is 22 stone and needs to lose a lot of weight and we’ve went on the keto diet. He lost over a stone. But I am not fat and I am type 2 diabetic but on insulin. I have to tread a middle path. So I would use some carrots, cut out the potatoes and then add them afterwards to my portion. It’s difficult

I'm going to have to try the dumpling, so far all I've made haven't cut the mustard with the husband's memory of what his mother would make.
