Your channel has become my favorite! We are still overrun with tomatoes so THANK YOU for this! It looks incredible! P.S. I'm at the point where I prefer my Chinese cooking over our nearby restaurants. I placed an order last week and it was just missing something. I remember what you said in one of your videos, that if your dish is missing something, aff oyster sauce. It totally saved it!!!!

Oo thanks for the tidbit - haven't watched many videos to come across that tip, so thank you 🙏🏼

Wow, Kerry thank you so much!! That's such a huge compliment! A little extra oyster sauce or soy sauce + a short trip back in the wok can go a loooong way for takeout that needs invigorating!

Love the dish.. Unfortunately my wife doesn't, so I always watch for it on restaurant menus. It's also great with green peppers added.

We're thrilled to hear that Ania! With all the fast editing these days there can be a lot of pressure to cram everything into one minute. But it takes a little while to make good food! :)

As my tomatoes are ripening, I have been making this old favorite too. You gave me some fine points, such as using ketchup! I had not done so. Glad to have this review.

yes, ketchup! :)

Love your recipes and definitely going to make this. I use rump steak in my stir fry usually, so I think that will work.

What a delicious beef and tomato dish! I agree with Bill. At 5 years old, all I wanted was the sauce over rice. Was that Sarah's husband sneaking around in the back door while Bill was tasting the food?
