Well it is understandable. I buy flagship to use it for approx 3years. Budget phone while start to become sluggish and deffo will cause you performance problemes in games which is something I don't want.

The back design is insanely good looking, even more than the Nothing phone. Probably because they included the orange stripes and metallic reflections. But very less glyph lights than Nothing. I was expecting Snapdragon on this one since it's a gaming phone.

@@Carcosahead i haven't played on emulators yet since i dont really play emus at all. You can search either TECNO CAMON 20 PRO 5G (the one I use) or INFINIX NOTE 30 VIP for emulator performance/gameplay. Last time I check there were some issues, but was fixed after a system update

Maybe dimensity chips are cheaper? So for them to give high specs with low price, they opt on the dimensity one rather than a snapdragon. But tbh mediatek's dimensity chips are much optimized than their helio chips

Nop dimensity 8050 is just a slight improved version of dimensity 1200. Adreno 650 is still better. Meanwhile dimensity 8100 is better than adreno 650 mediatek is playing rebranding game just like how Qualcomm did with snapdragon 870

This seems like a very good option for me. Seems to have everything I'm looking for. The big caveat is the software support. If they're not giving a long life of sucurity updates and a decent amount of Android upgrades then I'm not interested.

It's more or less an INFINIX NOTE 30 VIP with a gaming trim. When this GT 10 Pro was announced, I honestly expected a beefier phone. Don't agree ? Compare and contrast it with the aforementioned NOTE 30 VIP, which has even more perks like a greater 65watts changing brick, 50watts wireless charging, reverse wireless charging, and even more RAM. I know all this because, I use said NOTE 30 VIP, LOL!😂

1 question... as I have understood over the years - India (where I am from), is a very huge market for smartphones of all price ranges as people's tastes and financial backgrounds vary a lot. Reviewers in India, unless they are paid promoters or just starting out or are under embargo restrictions... tend to also highlight information on whether the devices are dual SIM (mostly a standard now in India as many use one SIM as primary and another for data usage owing to lower data cost than their main vendor) and if dual, whether the 2nd slot is hybrid or not. I understand devices named similarly in other countries may have other specifications, but does it matter to consumers there (owing to vendor lock in etc).. or is the SIM applicability similar. Eg. I have been happily using my dual SIM Samsung M33 from India in USA for the past 1 year with my Vodafone India SIM in 4G mode and Lycamobile US SIM in 5G mode while also using a 256 GB microSD for media storage, without any issues. Just curious

Yes... 3.1 is the standard now... however, I think a couple of very high-end and expensive phones use 4.1(might be 4.2)... before it was 2.2, and now 3.1...
