The hardest part is that you both know each other's challenge and actively play around: 1. Trying to complete your (challenge) 2. Trying to prevent the opposing challenge. It changes the way you play the game and I'd love to see a series made of this, similar to the ladder. Amazing concept and even has room for added challenges or modifications. It's supah entertaining to watch

If you want my advice, I would change the number of points given by certain challenges, depending on their difficulty. Additionally, make challenges easier for low tiers and harder for high tiers, since the better characters will generally have an easier time completing said them due to their neutral and options.

Yeah, one obvious problem is that any "Kill with X" challenge can only be tried 3 times at maximum, and you're really just defending until the opponent is at the right percent to try it. All the while Greninja's just gonna be throwing those taunts out left and right.

the way i see it thats why you pick random, though. one part of the game is the actual execution, but another is hoping you get a more "viable" character than your opponent.

@@lapotato9140 Inkling's may be more fairly difficult if she's not allowed to even hit the opponent with any moves that apply ink while she still has ink. So at the beginning of the stock she'll be desperately trying to deplete her ink while the opponent tries to get in the way.

As someone who does way too much training mode, ness’s dair trips at low percents and that’s it. Honestly just a bad challenge. A much better challenge would be either killing with pk flash or pk rocket, or something to do with magnet cancels.

If a challenge can't be completed for one player in one of these challenges you do; for example if the thing is removed or patched out. Then the match should be terminated and no points given.

Some of these “challenges” are so easy, all palutena has to do is camp 10sec which should be easy with her speed and autoreticle whatever it’s called and wolf just has to combo down-b, nair, fair, bair or down throw into side-b spike it’s really not hard. But what is f*cking hard is killing with Macs aerials and not getting grabbed as dk Also I don’t think you can lock someone in shield anymore as lucario

As a corrin main, killing someone with down air is next to impossible based on matchups and percents. A much better one in my opinion would be "Kill with an offstage sweet spot pin" or "kill with the shot of dragon fang shot"

Random idea: what if there was a challenge where one person playing a super slow character has to get to a specific box within a time limit. A faster character would chase them down and try to keep them from getting to the box, possibly having specific items to help along the way so it isn't impossible but isn't easy for the chaser? Maybe like gate switches that can change the course?

The concept of this is fun. But not all challenges seem equal. A way to tweak this, could be giving every fighter 2 challenges. So just winning would be the ‘easy challenge’ worth just 1 point. Then there would be a slightly more challenging ‘medium challenge’ worth 2 points, and finally one ‘hard challenge’ worth 3-5 points, or maybe even more depending on how hard it is to do. An example for Roy could be: Easy: Win the match normally. Worth 1 point. Medium: Kill with a grounded super armor up-B (if opponent doesn’t hit your super armor, it doesn’t count). Worth 2 points. Hard: Kill with a fully charged neutral-B. Worth 4 points.

Definitely do this again. Though I'd remove the 1pt normal victory rule. Just giving up on your challenge isn't that exciting so trying to survive the rest of the match denying your opponent their challenge for a 0pt draw would be better.

Ryu:(wiff 5 true shoryuken in a row without getting killed) Mewtwo:get a dair spike. Lucario: Kill your oponent without aura or with less % than your oponent has. Pikachu: get the utilt bair combo 0 to death combo(not a true combo.) ZSS: Nair flip kick heel spike successfully(only person able to do it consistently is marss) Wario: kill with waft without comfirming into it. Sheik: get one successfull needle to bouncing fish. Pyra: hit blazing end 3 times in neutral. Charizard: Edge guard with bair. Mythra: Zero to death using side b as your finisher(requires reads because those 0 to death are not true comboes) Incinaroar: get 10 dthrow neutral b in total in the game. DK:skill check your oponent 3 times using cargo throw towards the stage to stage spike them. Luigi: hit 1 dtaunt. Mario: kill with only fludd. Sephiroth: kill at 30% or lower with Gigaflare(fully charged neutral b). Cloud: hit 1 raw finishing touch(doesn't matter if it kills or not.) Joker: take each stocks using drag down kill comfirms. Ivysaure: combo into up b in order to kill comfirm. Ganondorf: be a hazard. Squirtle: take one stock with side b, if your oponent jumps on you while your in your side b animation they get 2 points. Captain falcon: get 1 falcon punch. Game & watch: take 3 stocks without up b out of sheild. Thats all my challenge ideas.

Marth's relatively easy. Remember dside-b is a multiplehit, that connects into itself, even if tippers. So basically, you tipper with green side b, you win.

Peach/Daisy: Pull bob-omb/Mr. Saturn and/or a Stitch in a single stock without dying. Shiek: Get a kill with the diagonal Aerial uncharged neutral B Zelda: Take an entire stock without using a special Olimar: Take an entire stock with only white pikmin Toon Link: Kill with a bomb that also hits toon link Simon/Richter: Block 5 attacks with the limp whip, if impossible, kill with limp whip

For example: Link could be "get a double K.O. with a bomb" I would also suggest to add the true echo for more flavour. -Richter could have "Hit 3 down air in a row without getting hit" -Daisy could have "Hit all 3 variations of the F-smash during the match"

I would make his challenge either break a shield with neutral B or hit three tippers in the whole game (or more tippers, but they can't be interrupted)
