Hey guys! Thanks for the support on this video! I figured I'd just clarify a few things about the moveset. - Crystal Dash works in the air, and has no hitbox. - Focus works in the air, but it takes twice as long (around 3ish seconds) for the charge to finish - After thinking about it, I agree that the Focus that's presented in the video does too much healing. I'd reduce it to about 10% per heal. - Yes, I know the Shade Lord or "The Void Given Focus" exists, but decided against using it because most people consider the "Dreams No More" ending to be the true ending and The Knight takes the "Void Given Form" in that ending. - I learned after making this video that The Knight actually has no gender! Sorry about that!

This really is a perfect representation for the knight. This knight even has a full charm load out: Thorns of Agony - 1 charm notch (neutral air) Defenders Crest - 1 charm notch (side taunt) Sharp Shadow - 2 charm notches (dash attack) Spell Twister - 2 charm notches (all spells cost less than a focus) Weaver Song - 2 charm notches (all throws and up taunt) Dream Shield - 3 charm notches (back air) When added together, the total charm notch cost is 11, the exact amount of charm notches the night has in the game after the Grimm update.

This was essentially EXACTLY how I would do it, except if the knight has full soul, the next spell he uses would use two notches, and be upgraded to their shade version. Amazing video

The only thing I would change is the soul attacks. The specials can be charged. When fully charged, they turn into shade versions of themselves. It would definitely benefit the down special since the hit box is a lot larger (especially vertically), and it grants a lot of invincibility frames. When shade soul and descending are used instead of the normal specials, it will use two notches. Edit: I forgot about making it so they can do their jab and move at the same time like Mega Man and Steve.

if you're playing with a single stock (or anything equivalent) the soul meter gains the steel soul look to it and have shade lord be the final smash, everything's the same but with shade lord for cool points

"Everyone only slashes with their nail" Mantis Lords, The Hollow Knight, and Hornet: Am I a joke to you? Edit: Forgot this comment existed, but finally got a notif bringing me back. Some enemies I forgot to mention were: Hive Knight, Markoth, and technically The Radiance, if you consider their horizontally/vertically moving projectiles as nails. Another clarification is that I'm specifically talking about nail users that do things other than slashing WITH THEIR NAILS. Spinning counts as slashing as you're just slashing in a circle. Hopefully that makes things clear :p

@@icaruswindrune7116 you realize that wyrm was just what they were called, we even see the pale kings old form, which looked like a WORM which is still a bug, it was just a far too large one to inhabit something the bugs could use, the vessels however, are void inside a bugs shell, at the very least they are inhabiting a bug corpse, but no definitely not, their shell grows with them, if they were not a bug but instead 100% void the shells would not grow at all, ala: The Hollow Knight, the actual one not the player.

For the costumes, you could give them a red cloak as a reference to Hornet, The protector of Hallownest and the Knights half-sibling. A light grey cloak with orange eyes as a reference to The Hollow Knight, the Knights sibling and vessel for The Radiance. A frowning mouth and one slightly shorter horn as a reference to Invincible, Fearless, Sensual, Mysterious, Enchanting, Vigorous, Diligent, Overwhelming, Gorgeous, Passionate, Terrifying, Beautiful, Powerful Grey Prince Zote the strongest character in Hollow Knight. A pale brown cloak, white body and yellow eyes to represent The Radiance, the games main antagonist and the god(goddess? Idk) of dreams. A black cloak with a red body and a line going vertically through each eye to represent Troupe Master Grimm, the leader of The Grimm Troupe and vessel for The Nightmare Heart. A gold cloak, steel grey body and a gold shell to represent The Godseeker, who seeks to Attune to the gods of Hallownest (and also hijacks the entire plot) And finally pure black with very intricate horns and 8 white eyes to represent Bill/The Shade Lord, the final form of the Knight, taken on during the godmaster endings.

In my opinion: Hornet deserves her own character Pure Vessel deserves its own character Zote doesn't deserve anything better than a slow, painful death of dehydration, trapped in Deepnest. A Radiance, Godseeker, Bill or Grimm skin or character would be very out of place If there were to be skins for the Little Vessel they should be little changes. Stuff like the horn variations the siblings have.

I would just make so you you have to charge them. Howling Wraiths turns into Abyss Shriek once up smash is fully charged. Hold B for 3 or 4 seconds when you start a forward special to charge Vengeful Spirit into Shade Soul and after you've charged it you're free to move again(like DK) until you use forward special again at which point Shade Soul is released. Charging Shade soul could also turn Desolate Dive into Descending Dark, otherwise Idk how else you get Descending Dark.

That final smash truly is a work of art. One thing I would add is that if the Knight is above the 100% instakill threshold you mentioned, instead of the normal void entity emerging from the Knight's shell, the Knight would instead transform into the terrifying Shade Lord that appears when you defeat the Absolute Radiance in the Pantheon of Hallownest (it also makes sense because the Shade Lord straight up kills the Absolute Radiance instead of just letting the void pull her down like what happened with the normal Radiance).

I don't think that quite works, unfortunately, since that threshold is calculated _after_ the damage done by the final smash itself, not before, so triggering a different animation at the start isn't feasible.

the knight uses the shade cloak and if it hits it will play an animation where void fills the screen then the character at the receiving end of the final smash turns back to see the shade lord standing there before slashing the screen

Really great video here! Personally, I only thought of two alternatives; I thought the void tendrils could have been incorporated into one of his throws somehow, and that one of his taunts could have been the "CHALLENGE" pose that he strikes when facing the Mantis Lords and the Radiance. Other than that, this was really cool to watch. Even in a non-official form, the presentation was really well done and made it feel real.

Here are some ideas: Intro: The Knight teleports onto the stage via his Dream Nail, referencing the teleport animation when he enters a dream or traveling through Dreamgates. Victory screens: The Knight absorbs the essence similar to what he does to Hollow Knight and the Dreamers The Knight rests on the bench that acted as the Safe Havens and save points in the game The Knight swings his nail and ends with the "challenge" pose when fighting the Mantis Lords and the Radiance. His clapping animation... he doesn't clap, just stares like the emotionless thing he is. The skins are based on characters and themes of Hollow Knight: Red: Based on Hornet Green: Based on Greenpath/Queen's Garden Orange: Based on the Infection White: Based on the Pale King Bronze: Based on the Godseeker Black Red: Based on Grimm Pure Vessel: Mask changes to resemble the Pure Vessel The stage for Hollow Knight should be Godhome, where the environment and hazards will constantly be shift by Godseeker like in Godmaster. Classic Mode will be called Pantheon of Smash based on Pantheon of Hallownest, where the enemies will represent the bosses in the games like a Giant Metal Dedede representing False Knight. The ending picture will be based on the Knight sitting with a Swordfighter (maybe Marth) on a beach, referencing Quirrel at the Blue Lake.

I have an interesting idea for the stage, so it's standard triplat, the setting is city of tears, crystal peak, and coliseum of fool's. City has normal platforms, the peak has platforms with spikes under that flip when something steps on em but can be hit to change back, and coliseum has platforms that fall on contact. The areas change randomly/on a set timer with the godseeker effect, and the initial stage is random. Maybe dependant on music? No hazards/battlefield randomly selects a variant that stays the same for the whole match (like one of the FE stages)

I love how you essentially incorporated the soul management aspect of combat from hollow knight. A big part of the combat in the original game is about making the best use of your soul by deciding whether to focus, use a spell, or maybe get in a nail art when you have the opportunity. This would be a really cool feature if the knight was ever added to smash!

I think there was a slight missed opportunity to include Grimmchild and the Glowing Womb Hatchlings into his other throws instead of just the Weaverlings. Also, his entrance animation should be him rolling up his map and hopping off of a bench. Also also, City of Tears should be the stage. Perhaps based around the Hollow Knight memorial statue.

This is very well thought out! The fact you made all the animations and took inspiration from various charms and spells is great! The only thing that bothers me slightly is that the "notches" you use to indicate soul are health points in the original game. So someone well versed in HK could get confused very quickly about losing health

I think a cool idea would be that when you die, your darkness(?) Would be on stage, and your soul meter will be broken, and capped at like half, and all soul previously owned is lost, except when the darkness gets damaged enough or is ko'd, then your soul is regained, and meter fixed.

For the knight's grabs and throws, I always envisioned it as his void tendrils coming out of his cloak and yeeting the opponents. The weaverlings are a great idea though

I think the moveset you created fits the character fantastically, you thought well about it and included such great references such as the dreamnail or the whole soul system, the knight really looks like a fun and balanced character. The Video is very good too and the animations are beautiful. I would suggest to make the dash slash his dash attack and the shadow dash his dodge besides that I think the moveset is perfect! Ps: I too often think about movesets for characters I want in smash and it‘s so nice to see that some one other puts such effort into making one. There is still one dlc fighter left, hopefully the knight will make his way into the game.

as for the 7 alternate costumes, I’d have the knight wearing a simple mask shaped the same way as the dreamer’s masks, over his face, painted in the likeness of some character from hallownest, then simply recolor his wrappings. Or full remodels of head to go with the recolor, but even less likely than the Knight being in smash at all. The most obvious inspirations for costumes I see are Hornet, Zote, The Pale King, and the baby Hollow Knight we see in the hidden cutscenes, but others could be inspired by the dreamers Monomon, Herrah, & Lurien; prominent adventurers in the story like Quirrel, Cloth & Tiso; or the Five Great Knights Ze’mer, Isma, Dryya, Hegemol, and Ogrim. Or just other siblings whose shells we see scattered around, such as the Broken Vessel, the corpse in the background of the first Hornet fight, or any of the myriad of designs in the abyss.

If there's one thing that I don't like about this moveset is that the throws only use the Weaverlings. You could have included other charms, like the Glowing Womb, the Grimmchild, and maybe even the Flukenest or Sharp Shadow. Other than that, I think this might just be my favorite Hollow Knight moveset for Smash. Great work!

I feel that either: The Knight has a triple jump like all winged characters do, with a standard double jump. Or the wing jump is super floaty. And maybe the Knights final smash is a bit different? Like the general concept is good, but I think it'd be awesome if the Hollow Knight and the siblings drifted off up from beneath the stage and grabbed one of the fighters (if they're in the vicinity) and the final smash happened on the stage, like how it did in the final fight. Other than that, amazing work!!! Earned a subscriber!!

when you mentioned the weaverlings for the throws, i also thought of the other “summon” charms, grimmchild and glowing womb, and how they’d work for throws, too. up throw - the “glowing womb flies” carry the opponent up a small distance and toss them upwards. down throw - Ghost slams the opponent on the ground and grimmchild burns them while they’re down.

Good moveset, but i'd use Dash Slash for the... well, *DASH* attack, it'd be strong, but have a large wind-up. I also think the spell moves should have the void variants when Charging them, and this next one is opinions based, but I'd also use Grimmchild for the grabs instead of the weavers.

Fairly tight idea for the moveset, nice animation overall. I love how cool the Final Smash looks without directly spoiling a specific event as the Vessel turning into black tendril thingy isn’t exactly important to the plot plus the Radiance nor the Hollow Knight ever show up. One minor nitpick I have is that the animation for the up smash doesn’t have much impact. The charge animation beforehand adds a little oomph but it doesn’t save the animation for me. The movement of the Vessel (which is how I refer to the “Knight” slash “Ghost” slash “Runaway child of the Pale King” cough cough spoilers) feels too slow for the action that they are performing. As for the soul attack itself, I am fine with making it smaller than how it appears from source given that accounting for game balance is important. That said though, given the way the attack looks visually ignoring size, the way the attack functions, and just seeing that with the size of the attack just does not feel right. Perhaps make it as big as how it looked from source, have it to lots of knockback but not too much damage, as if it is the screaming of the souls that is deterring the enemy. We can also have this move have a quick release but loads of end lag. After all, playing as the Vessel (the way I see it) is all about being aggressive when you can and deciding on the spot how you manage your tactics supply (and by that I mean managing Soul and damage). Wow, I talked a lot all over just one nitpick. I have to say it though or else my OCD symptoms will be screaming at me for like the next five minutes and that is a bit of mental agony I am not willing to give myself despite how trivial it would be to just, decide not to send this comment lmao. Besides that minor nitpick though, I like the moveset and the animation is great overall, but I also want to contribute some of my own ideas, since I’ve recently picked the game up again after unintentionally abandoning it before I got to complete most of the game. The idea for Soul as a mechanic in this moveset does sound interesting and developed enough, but if I were the one making this moveset, I wouldn’t stop here. Let’s say that somehow, Nintendo sent me an email one day and said that I would be 100% in charge of designing the moveset for the Vessel. I wouldn’t want to stop at just essentially copy pasting the same core mechanic Hollow Knight used. While it is definitely the most simplest and more surefire way of making sure that the Vessel feels similar to how they play from the source game, I wanted to take it a step further and add some creative liberties. I mean, come on, what kind of Mario game has Mario play the same way he does in Super Smash Bros? What kind of Seamus doesn’t spam missiles at every opportunity? I mean yeah they are literally the oldest designed characters and the Smash team never bothered to change their movesets since Mario Link and Seamus sort of establish the three main fighter archetypes we have in the game *cough* the Miis. There are plenty of other characters, mostly villain characters that take creative liberties, mostly because they’re not playable in their source games, but who is to say that you cannot do this with a protagonist character? Well, the Vessel is less of a protagonist and more so just a window to allow us puny mortal humans to gaze upon a slice of this fantasy world. The Vessel has no complex goals or motivations, they are simply just… compelled. By the Radiance? By the Hollow Knight itself? Something in Hallownest called to the lost Vessel, beckoning it back into it’s mysterious depths. Why am I going on a tangent about this game? I’m sorry. Smash moveset, right. Firstly, I want to remove the jab animation for the side tilt. While I do agree that it is a bit odd that you would use a pointy object in order to slice side to side, it is a matter of fact that the Vessel primarily if not only uses slices to attack enemies. It is how they perform all of their actions with the nail and I do not want to lose that “animation quirk” over some common sense. It is not a bad idea for a side tilt by any means, it is just not how I would do things. Nintendo did theoretically hire me to make this character after all, and all of a sudden I am starting to think that I am being scammed by a fake Nintendo… Uhh, anyways, sunk cost fallacy, I am finishing making this moveset. Up, down, forward air attacks, same idea, don’t need to talk about them. I kind of want to limit the usage of charm abilities that the Vessel uses. I want to make it feel like that we took the Vessel when they are in the middle of their journey in Hallownest, so they are not guaranteed to have any one specific charm, especially when most of them are locked behind secret rooms or spike pogo challenges or small platforms above spike pits that flying enemies annoyingly spawn around. So for their back air attack, instead of the dream shield (which is a really cool idea for a back air but I am sticking to my rules), I’ll give them a creative liberty move where the Vessel turns around to slice whoever is behind them (turning towards the camera. So if it did the attack while facing right, it would turn to their right to perform the attack) before turning in the direction they were spinning in back into idle, or rather, their falling animation since it is an air attack. The main thing about Hollow Knight combat is it’s tactical resource management. Unlike games where you collect a stockpile of items and use them when needed, Hollow Knight sort of has a “in the moment” management system where you have to decide on the spot whether or not to go on the offensive or defensive while at the same time finding the best place to do those things while weaving through enemy attacks. Despite everything else, this core idea is the main thing I want to keep true no matter what creative liberties I make. So, what’s the gimmick then? Well, y’know how Soul works in the original game? Some abilities have a utility purpose. Desolate Dive can be used to access entrances to areas and Focus is useful for obvious reasons. But at the same time, I sort of see these abilities as panic button abilities. They are well-designed in the context of the gameplay of Hollow Knight, but if you want a harder challenge, you can forsake using most of your Soul attacks. If you are in a pinch, you can deplete Soul in order to get you out of certain situations. Vengeful Spirit is basically your only long-ranged offensive tool and Desolate Dive gives you invincibility frames after you successfully use it. However, if I brought these moves over to Smash Bros, there isn’t that much of a reason to not use your Soul attacks whenever you have the chance to right? This is a no bars player versus player game where you are using all the tools available to you to smash your opponent out of the screen. At that point, the gauge is the only thing stopping you from using your Soul attacks. Well what is wrong with that you may ask? Well, it is not that interesting in my opinion. It doesn’t fully reflect the gameplay loop of Hollow Knight despite the exact same moveset and mechanics being carried over, which makes sense because we are trying to bring these mechanics over into a completely different game, but I want to make changes so that this moveset ends up feeling even more like Hollow Knight. The Vessel isn’t a raging demon of seething… rage. While aggression is an important part of their toolset, it is not all that they do. Like I said, tactical resource management. This tactical part of their playstyle is given to them because of the way the original Hollow Knight f-ing works. Platforming, spike pitfalls, reading your enemies and not in the way that you do in Smash. You’re not thinking about what move the enemy will do based on their position and situation, you’re trying your best to put yourself in the best position to react to their next telegraphed attack. Obviously, that is not how things work in Smash, so I am going to provide the Vessel a new mechanic that doesn’t pull from any specific gameplay mechanic from their source game but still gives them what I think would be the feeling of playing Hollow Knight. I am going to give the Vessel, the Void Meter (name is a work in progress). This isn’t your traditional Soul Meter and it doesn’t look like the Soul Meter you see in the source game. I mean, it’ll be difficult to fit that ghastly thing with all of the slick UI you see in Smash. Blegh. The Void Meter looks more like your standard bar that fills in each time you attack an enemy, so it does function as a meter that stores your Soul Attacks. What is the difference besides the different name? Well, you might be wondering what Void has anything to do with this at all if it functions like a Soul Meter. That, my loyal reader, comes when the Vessel ends up reaching maximum capacity with their meter. Reaching maximum capacity will be indicated with all of white bars inside the meter turning black as Void violently seeps out from the meter bar. At this point, your next Soul Attack will be transformed into a deadly Void Attack, which depletes the entire gauge in exchange for a super move, replacing Vengeful Spirit, Desolate Dive, and Howling Wraiths with Shade Soul, Descending Dark, and Abyss Shriek. These Void Attacks are extremely powerful, and they aren’t easy to predict or punish either. They come out quickly, they hit hard, and the Vessel can move about freely not long after. Even with the charge time, isn’t that a little too broken for Smash? You see my friend, this isn’t where the story ends. You see, there is another layer to this gimmick. Any collected Soul that the Vessel has obtained will not be lost upon the loss of a stock. It simply depletes and replenishes by the actions of whoever is controlling the Vessel. But here is the thing. If your Soul has been converted into Void, aka, your entire meter is filled, all of this Void will in fact be lost once the Vessel gets smashed off the stage. If ya think that is a doozy, I’ll be the first to tell you that there is more! If you get smashed when your meter is a normal Soul Meter, you get smashed as per usual. BUT if you get smashed with a Void Meter at hand, the Vessel will leave behind a Shade. An eerie representation of what lies underneath the shell of every one of the Pale King’s children that have been cast into the Abyss. This Shade will roam about the stage starting from the point that the Vessel got smashed at, meaning it’ll usually first appear at the edge of the blast zone, from which it will float towards the stage. The Shade, unlike how it acts in the source game, is unobstructed by obstacles. They can be dealt damage to by, well, anything that can deal damage without specific requirements (I mention this because water technically can deal damage, just only specific to Charizard, Incineroar, and Inkling because fire type Pokémon and Inklings dissolve in water. Water will not deal damage to the Shade). The Shade will primarily follow the Vessel that it originated from and will do various attacks to it. The Shade has access to nail attacks as well as Shade Soul, Descending Dark and Abyss Shriek. These attacks deals damage to literally everyone, the Vessel included, especially the Vessel. The original Vessel will take more damage from attacks dealt from their Shade more than every other character on screen. This means that the Vessel the Shade is attached to is the one that is most threatened by the Shade’s presence, but the Shade will not ignore others if they end up impeding it whether it is via body hit box collision or attacks. If the Shade ends up dying, the Vessel will absorb all of it’s essence back into itself and replenish all of it’s meter, gaining back the ability to use Void Attacks once more. One thing I should mention is that the Vessel can replenish Soul even when the Shade is out, though attacking the Shade itself will not grant the Vessel any Soul, like how it is in the source game. The Vessel can also get back Void Meter even if the Shade is still roaming and the presence of the Shade is unaffected by the acquirement and usage of a new Void Meter, so if the Vessel defeats it’s Shade with a refilled meter, practically nothing happens. Defeating a Shade will override any Soul that the Vessel has collected in the meantime, immediately filling the gauge all the way up as normal. If the Vessel loses a stock while the Shade is still out, the original one will disappear. Of course, a new one would take it’s place if the Vessel gets smashed with a new Void Meter. Unlike the source game, the Shade that appears has a set time limit for how long it can last, which is indicated by the Shade itself slowly dissipating, losing it’s features and opaqueness. Though this effect isn’t drastic, it is still noticeable and reliable enough to use as a timer to keep track of how long until the Shade disappears. Once the Shade disappears, things are back to normal. The Final Smash is still the same because 1: it is thematically appropriate with my new gimmick and 2: it is f-ing cool.

Now with all of that explained, what the *fuck* is my reasoning for this overly complex overly overpowered overly broken shit? XD. Well, given how powerful I ended up making the Void Moves, there is now incentive to save using your Soul Attacks in order to unleash a much more powerful move instead, the multiple downsides being 1: the Shade 2: you can only do 1 Void Attack every once in a while as opposed to Soul Attacks that can be used more frequently. 3: the Shade 4: did I mention the Shade. Unlike the Source game, you can’t just pogo your inner demons twice or thrice with your bonking bat and be on your merry way. The Shade is a much more prevalent threat this time with more health and uh the DAMAGE. The main weakness of the Shade is that it is not controlled by a player, it is controlled by an AI that runs on more basic commands. What I am trying to say is that the Shade is very slow and very fucking dumb lmao. Like how the Shade operates inside the source game, you have to account for the Shade while also maneuvering around your surroundings, either on your way to the Shade or in your attempt to hit the damn thing and get your money progress back, which in Smash, translates to your tactical progress which just so happens to have the theme of edgy inky black water stuff which the Shade is conveniently made out of so thematically it makes sense BOW DOWN TO THE ONE WHO HAS ASCENDED BEFORE YOU *I AM GORB* ahem… I would like to talk about the miscellaneous now because why the heck not So, the animation. Everything about Hollow Knight is made from 2D assets. The background is art, the interactable objects are art, the hazards are art the animated enemies are art the animated side characters are art the animated player character is art the music is art the game is art I am art you are art the world is art nothing is real and the point I am trying to make is that Super Smash Brothers Ultimate for the Nintendo Switch, Switch Lite and Switch OLED models is that it is a 3D platformer. . . . . . I have a solution to this problem. So, hear me out, *have you ever heard of 3D anime?* Jokes aside, you can make it so that you can use 3D assets while at the same time giving said assets an effect that makes it look like a 2D drawing come to life. This has been done with a variety of artstyles and I am sure it can also be used to bring the Vessel into the realm of 3D without drastically changing their original appearance. The reason why I bring this up is that 1: there is a reason why fan models for the Vessel obviously look like fan models and 2: Hollow Knight canonically exists in a three dimensional world despite what the art style implies YEAH THAT IS RIGHT THE CHARACTERS HAVE DEPTH! SUCK IT MR. GAME AND WATCH. Speaking of whom, porting over the original artstyle of Hollow Knight one to one 2D assets and all like how Game and Watch does wouldn’t exactly make sense as if we were to do that, it cannot be hand-waved in the world of Smash Bros. Canonically, Game and Watch is an actual two-dimensional being. He is literally perceived as having no depth by the other characters in Smash Bros, only length and width. If we did that to the Vessel, well, there would be issues, despite the lack of new Palutena’s Guidance dialogue for DLC characters in this game. I am in charge of a triple A game here folks, I wanna keep this as authentic as I see fit. So, 2.5D, whatever you wanna call it, that is how we’re gonna have the Vessel stand next to Mario, Kirby, Wolf, Mewtwo, Banjo-Kazooie, King K. Rool, Sephiroth, and Sora… in our dreams that is. So, uh, no such thing as a battle without a battlefield right? I remember seeing one suggestion for a stage in the comment section being the City of Tears, the main capitol of Hallownest. Personally, I can’t see it. I mean, can you imagine a Smash Bros remix of Dung Defender (original by Christopher Larkin) playing over the depressing atmosphere of *LITERAL NEAR-ENDLESS RAIN FALLING FROM THE CAVERN CEILING* … But seriously, a Smash remix of Dung Defender would be so epic it would be the only thing I’d be listening to for the rest of the week once I have access to it. But, back to the stage. I think my suggestion isn’t something many people have thought about… what if it took place inside the dream realm? Y’know, the place you go to for the Dream Nail re-fights and the place you go to put the Dreamers to rest and break the seals? I believe it is also the same realm that the Godseekers use for the hall of gods, the place you can fight the Ascended version of bosses. Why do I suggest the dream realm of all places to represent Hollow Knight? Well you see, that is because the dream realm is going to be representing all of Hallownest. By finding power by attuning to the mystical powers that govern the world of Smash, the Godseekers have found a way to attune to the memories of all of the bugs of Hallownest, granting them the power to perfectly recreate any part of Hallownest that a bug has been to. When the fight begins, the background will be pitch black and the central big platform takes the form of the floor of the boss arenas the Godseekers use idfk what it is called I haven’t played the DLC for this game. As the announcer says “Ready?”, particle effects are already morphing the background by covering it with a bright white light. Not long after the announcer says “GO!”, the background changes to one of the various explorable locations of Hallownest. Dirtmouth/Forgotten Crossroads, Greenpath, Crystal Peak, Mantis Village/Fungal Wastes, and occasionally the background will shift to be the boss arena governed by the Godseekers themselves. And what better way to present this stage that travels through Hallownest’s memories than with a Smash original medley appropriately titled “Elegy for Hallownest”? The song would have a fairly somber tone, more so that most tracks used in Smash Ultimate. The song would include many of the motifs that you would hear across the multiple areas of the game, even of areas that the stage doesn’t get to show off. That is about the most I can say, it is very hard to describe a song that doesn’t even exist, which is to say, I am just spouting ideas. If the Vessel ends up playable in a future port of Smash Ultimate, DUNG DEFENDER HAS TO BE A REMIXED TRACK IT IS ONE OF THE BEST SONGS IN THE GAME IT DESERVES TO BE EPICIFIED BY THE SMASH TEAM. Ahem… I have written way too much so here is your abrupt end to my list of ideas goodbye ehe
