Sad that their elderly mom (in the wheelchair) had to bury Maurice, Andy, Robin and her husband. Spencer, Melissa, Robin John and Snow lost their dad. His grave is right across the road in sight of his home. His two Irish wolfhounds would not leave his side when he was brought home for the funeral. The entire town of Thame and others, famous and not famous, came to pay their respect as he passed. A piper led the procession. (Gibb is a Scottish name.) I was there last month and ten years after his death his grave is covered in flowers, photos, letters and other tributes. The churchyard is ancient, beautiful and peaceful. He deserves his rest. He died a prolonged terrible death and fought like hell to live. The lyrics - "We can take it up to heaven, we can walk among the stars. If you just come down I can look you in the eye, I can tell you that I love you and my love will never die". Your own words were perfect - THEY REALLY LIVED! That they did. Robin's voice and the Gibb brothers will never be duplicated.

Here, Robin the songbird, shines as often he used to do with his unique voice. The parts, Barry takes lead are also very sensitive, so he holds back any power, just singin' smooth and soft. I so much love, when both of them are singin' leadparts in a song, like many times they did. 'I've Gotta Get A Message To You', 'Run To Me', 'Walking Back To Waterloo' or 'Wedding Day' are perfect excamples.

May we all face our own mortality as bravely and fiercely as Robin did. The BeeGees have been with many of us for almost our entire lives. As goes Andy, Mo, and Robin, so shall we go. And so shall Barry go. But we were blessed to have had these days under the sun with such a fantastic band of brothers. We’ve been blessed. And their music will live on LONG after we’re already just “Rings around the Moon” in Jesus’ care. RIP Robin.

It's like they knew Robin would be joining Andy and Maurice. Their songs were written in a way that they seemed to predict the future."Alone", "Rings around the moon", "A Heart Like Mine". "Reaching Out". The twins so different,yet so much alike. What a gift we were given in these three brothers.Bee Gees Forever.
