The Bee gees were probably the best group in the 20th century among the top but Robin Gibb by far had the best voice nobody understands that nobody are few people acknowledge Robin Gibb and his voice such awesome voice so unique with such heart

Love their early music especially 60's-70's. You are hearing Robin Gibb's voice in this song "I Started A Joke" from 1968. Robin's vibrato was amazing. And the way Barry and Robin could harmonize so seamlessly was simply unreal. It sounded like one voice, but much fuller. Add in Maurice's voice and you've got perfection.

Robin’s voice was always good for the sad songs because of his vibrato. I love Mo’s voice! Check out either Closer than close or Man in the Middle, Maurice sings lead. And you can really hear his voice. His son Spencer sounds so much like him in The Empty Room. Check out Spencer Gibb, he’s got a haunting voice.

He said things that hurt others and caused them to cry, but it came back on him in the end. Then, when he was the one suffering, the whole world laughed at him. Then, when he died, other people were finally able to live their lives. I always took it to mean that he started the joke but was its ultimate victim, someone who doesn't think or care enough about others and, in the end, maybe other people are better off without him. It's a pretty unique concept for an otherwise seemingly simple old song.
