I have anxiety BUT I love how you teach and I watched many many many bee videos and yours by far are the best at helping people meet their bees in the middle, so to speak. On my second year and counting I must be successful as I still have my bees kept, lol. I love beekeeping and it gets better!

Great Video David, I feed Ulta bee pollen to my bees yesterday - yes it was 60 degrees and today it was all gone, so I feed them more. Today high was 66 but the weather is changing back to winter tomorrow and single digit temps by Thursday morning. So, this my inspection for February. Again THANKS FOR A GREAT VIDEO!

David, do you wash your protective bee clothes? If so, what detergent do you use?
@garyRt23Bees8 ай бұрын
Just a tip. Most of what is on your jacket is wax, honey and maybe propolis. On a clear day hang your suit and gloves if you wear them, outside and let the bees clean them for you. Once they get done I would think any detergent should work but I would use one with little or no perfume added. Some smells can trigger bees. Just my thought. LOL David is the man !!!

My wife and I keep bees. She is very worried about the bees swarming and getting into a neighbor's house. Do you have any suggestions about how I can quell her fears?
@marceld89616 ай бұрын
The buzzing is what creeps me out. Also those Africanized honey bees, they nest in the most unexpected spots. If you accidentally disturb them they are relentless and chase you for a quarter of a mile.

Ive been watching your videos all the way back to 3 years or more. Ive just got a nuc this year. I kep bees a long time ago before the hive beetle. Any way thanks so much for all the information. 2024.

Have you used those mini mating nucs on the shelf behind you? And what is the purple frame on the bottom shelf to your left? Great video. I've watched you a lot! Learned a lot. Thanks
@beek8 ай бұрын
Yes, but for me, they grew too fast in them, and became kinda cranky. I believe you are looking at a pink plastic frame.
