Hey Devan, new subber & baby beekeeper (1st year ) here. Awesome content. I'm learning really fast, your vids are absolutely great and vast source of practical experience, tips and examples. Thank you so much, for your time dedicated to pass the knowledge further. If you having so much fun, that we - your subbers - you're truly a happy person :). Greetings form a very hard place to keep the bees (actually urban operations are only options over here), lots of keepers competition, windy and ignorant people etc :)

Hi there Devon , I am a beekeeper in Australia since the age of 14 years old, you are dead right about wearing gloves when working the bees, if you start squishing the sisters it can tend to cause the bees to get excited and on the defensive, alway great to communicate with our fellow American beekeeper friends.

Hi, glad to have found your channel. Can you explain the numbering on the outsides of the brood boxes you have? I'm a 2nd year beek, which is going much better than the first. So far I have a very expensive quart of honey, but I am more interested in building up my colonies. How many do you have?

Hey there Devan. I am curious about your tool belt with what appears to be magnets to hold on your hive tools. Where can one be acquired, or how did you go about making it?

Great videos. Is Beekeeping your main occupation, or do you just do it on the side?

Hi Devan, thanks for the vids - I just found your channel and am eager to see more. Good to name your location so we can judge how your beekeeping practices will be suitable for the viewers locale. I'm based in the UK, about 20mile/30km from central London. I think your winters are more extreme than we get in UK, and we never get Lake-effect snow fall. We often have damp cool cloudy weather. But not as cold as Scotland. I have family in Guelph, Ontario, and they talk about shorter growing season, but once spring happens, it turns into summer and everything takes off quickly. That's the view of my Uncle who emigrated from Yorkshire to Ontario. Thanks again for your time and effort. The vids look like fun.
