Thanks for the video! I do not like having my phone on my bars in case of an accident I do not want to be separated from my phone. This could be a fun alternative

Is there any advice for Speed limits or Autovelox?

I have had my beeline for nearly four years, and used it to travel all over nz and clocked up over 60,000 km . My only problems ive had is when i don't trust it and think I know better. I'm seriously considering investing in this upgrade. What i would like to see on it is not the actual speed, but the speed limits. We now have in nz a ridiculous situation where the open road soeed limit could be anything depending on where you are and I'm sure they have halved the amount of signs.

I have same bike same colour. Now beeline, I bought on Kickstarter so I'm still waiting... Lucky you. Can you give some insight into the awesome road or not so awesome road feature. It's a must for me, as some roads turn to poo, too narrow of covered in moss etc, so I need to know how the function works for marking that road as BAD, and when I'm on the great road that I want to ride again, marking that at GOOD. once marked, how do you recall this information??? BTW I am surprised you need NAVI in NZ, I lived there for 18 years and was so bored riding the same roads over and over again, I left... 😂😂😂

Just upgraded from original. Moto2 is a fantastic update, and the powered mont is a very welcome addition. Moto2 also adds speed limit on navigation & speedometer screens, very nice. I ride a custom Royal Enfield Continental GT 650, so a big rectangle navigation is unwelcome

Good video but I live in the most overpopulated city in the western world and it would be nigh on impossible to look long enough at where I am going , great for where you are though 👌

Does it have the ability to send audio instructions to a BT intercom device?

I have heard there is an update coming which will send an audible tone when there is an instruction to follow.

Is there a mode which is just a regular cardinal compass for when youre riding without a deatination?

Not that I know of. You can set a destination and get a simple compass arrow to follow, but that's about it.

what happens when you receive a phone call in the middle of your ride? does the screen show the caller id or something?

Nope. Beeline is purely navigation.

I get that there's a market for these, but that market isn't me or anyone I know that rides. I ride every day, everywhere and this thing is just too small to use. I had the first version for less than a month before I sold it at a 50% loss. There are plenty of Android Auto/Apple Carplay units made specifically for motorcycles now. I have the power cord for one wired up to all six of my bikes and just move it whenever I need to. Takes less than a minute. Way more features including a larger more viewable screen, offline nav, waypoint navigation, Waze, audible navigation to a Cardo or Sena or bluetooth earbud, music control, apps for weather etc and they even cost less than this. They work seamlessly with either my Fold5 or my 15 Pro Max. This thing is just a non starter for me and even though I know there's a market for them, I'm scratching my head as to what that market is.

I recently took my Chigee off the bike. on an adventure bike or cafe racer, clean bars can be an advantage.

It's for riders that want a minimal device like on a retro or Harley perhaps. That's why I'm backing the Moto II on Kickstarter. Do you have a CEEGEE, or something like that?

@@Yelwas carpuride w702 and w502. The 702 stays on my HD FXRP repop fairing and I also use it as a head unit. The 502 gets moved around between my other bikes as needed. I get minimal, but no voice navigation is almost criminal. It's so small that you're having to glance down at it and refocus your eyes, then glance back up at moving traffic.

@@MotoNZ what advantage? I ride both as well and I've never come across any disadvantage from a 5" screen. You'll need to explain that to me.

@@breedlofamif you’re riding hard adventure or enduro, you want to lose as much weight off the bike as possible. I don’t need the 5” display or cameras cluttering up my bars/bike when I’m trying to muscle the bike through the tough stuff. If it’s too rough for my phone, then the small beeline is perfect. It’s also brilliant for navigational rallys where you are just given a GPX file.

I don’t want my phone anywhere in view when I’m riding, so using that as a nav is not an option, or any of the CarPlay devices for the same reason. Nor do I use a nav on most rides, so it’s not worth me getting a full size device, plus one would look ugly on my naked. That’s why the original Moto worked for me, and why I have a Moto II on order.

I just got my Moto 2 Silver version, and first look at the edge it’s all scratched and it’s a plastic ring and color dosn’t match the aluminum front. The rear end of the device is all black plastic. Very hard to add to the mount, needs a lot of force. It feels cheaper to me when clicking the buttons and these flaws too with the scratches. Just not OK What a dissapointment to me, i will keep my Silver Moto 1 instead, witch is all aluminum and better build quality according to me. I will return the device and get a full refund.
