True Stevenson, honestly and personally for me 8GB would probably be sufficient for the aps that i use. And when Android 6 came out with storage expansion possibility i said "From now on doesnt matter anymore how much a device has, as long as it has a SD Card Slot we can install as much as we want" and that still stands so. Regarding the Micro SD cards i have a few Samsung Evo 32 and 64 (not worth it) Sandisk (32GB my favorite) and a few others Thanks RJ

Since uninstalling Quido and Quido Mate and installing Kodi 17.3 with Ares wizard and the Pulse build, what i get now at start up is the Pulse emblem then it goes straight to a short 2 minute video called "Em Bones its about 3 skeletons dancing around to music, when i close the video everything is normal, bloody anoying. Also at start up I get a bell alarm sound as if its trying to tell me something!!

hi when i frst in stall kodo it did work fine but when i put a build on kodi like the Ares Wizard build then i pick a build from the build list Netflix build that install ok when it was down downloading kodi close down and if neveer open up again

I believe that the problem was in the addon wizard that broke something. I use Kodi without any addons to playback my local movie library so i cant help to figure out what the issue is with the addon RJ

Hi Roberto. Can you tell me if this Beelink Ultimate 11 Box has a reset pin underneath the box. I notice in photos a little pin hole on the bottom but I can't tell what it is. I don't see a AV plug in the back is where you normally toothpick reset an android box. So what is that small hole underneath the box? Thanks....

Roberto Jorge on my H96 pro plus when I install Crackle and then I start to use it I can't seem to scroll down and when I use those handheld keyboard/mouse touch pads it still won't scroll down. On this Beelink ultimate are you able to actually scroll down? Can you test it out for me?

looks like a pretty good box and the price is good too, but it doesn't have any jack audio out, so i either need an amp with SPDIF in or a bluetooth speaker ? or use the TV's speakers ? or can i take the audio from the TV instead? Also looking at the gearbest specs sheets it seems there are other differences too, like max SD card size, one is 32 the other 64GB, that kinda matters and are low for both. there is also a max external hard drive limit of 500GB ? and no USB 3 ? Does it have OTA ? is android 7 available for it ? sorry for the many question, but they are needed to make an informed purchase decision

Hello! I'm thinking of buying the beelink gt1 ultimate, as it is right in my budget and seems like it has very good value for money. I didn't quite understand the part about only doing 480p on Netflix, being a 4k capable device... Can you elaborate on that? Because my current experience using the ISP's (MEO) setopbox to watch Netflix contents is dreadful. It is very nice to see a fellow Portuguese doing reviews for a change. Keep it going!

Ive had my gt1 ultimate for about 10 weeks now, sometimes closes down when i run Kodi and says "Kodi has stopped working" maybe thats Kodi, You mention you updated it , well when i tried to update mine it says its "up to date" has anybody else been able to update the software on there gt1 ultimate yet? also thats clear all apps icon does not do anything but I learned you can do that through the pop up menu which does work, to be quite honest I dont think this box is worth the money

Hi Steven, dont know what the problem is. In windows is pretty straight forward. Just install it and run it. If you are having issues is something on the software side (Not Kodi) of windows that is not working well. If nothing works make a backup of your machine and reset Windows 10 to factory default. That should work RJ 👍

Don’t need root, just use auto rotation app and that will solve the issue 👍

Hey Dante, i use the NOS TV App, but it works only for clients and i believe that only for Portugal. I know we can use on other countries cause my wife went for a week for france and i installed it on the ipad with VPN and worked great hehe!!! The latest firmware release, the one that was on the 19th of May addresses the Google Play Store has stopped issue. Once you've updated, it'll occur again, but then the app becomes updated and shouldn't experience that no more. The latest build would be GT1_313M0, it is for the GT1 Ultimate boxes.

bought gt1, have 50hz tv and get green screen intermittently and faded.downgraded display to 50hz from 60hz and still get it but not as often.lastly reduced it to 1080p 25hz and waiting to see if that will fix it. any ideas? thanks

Hi, they are both 64 bit. Nowadays almost all devices are 64bit. But even if it was 32 you wouldn't see a difference. Main difference is that 64bit support more than 4GB of ram while 32 bit only up to 4GB The GT1 as 2GB and the Ultimate has 3GB so even if they were 32 would be ok 👍👍

Although 32bit cannot support larger memory, the memory addressing with 64bit is still faster even if the memory is less than 3gb. The 32bit has DDR4 32bit memory.

Not exactly, there are some apps that need a 64 bits android operative system and they won't work on 32 bits. For example the Dolphin emulator for Wii. Regards!.

It's weird that you didn't notice any difference in multitasking. With my 2GB box I notice that I can only keep 5 or 6 (sometimes less) apps open at the same time, but with my 3GB box I've been able to keep 11+ apps open.

Hi Gandre, here i have tested with 14 aps open on the GT1 (2GB), Minix U9-H (2GB) and the GT1 Ultimate (3GB) and the behaviour was the same. I was monitoring the activity and i had 85% +- ram being used on the 2GB machines and 70% on the 3GB so i will only notice if i go behond that :). Maybe with 20 or so hehe!! My next video is about that (Ram) 👍

The WiFi issue have been addressed with the GT1_312M0 firmware update that was released early May, just after you having posted about the issue. Before the WiFi fix, and you bought this box, you could easily end up with a box that can't be connected to your Internet during Beelink initial setup phase. In-fact the WiFi feature is turned off in Android settings / Wi-Fi /, and no way it'll enable, or stay enabled when backing out and returning to Wi-Fi settings. If you lucky enough to have the WiFi working upon the initial setup phase of this box, you could almost count on the WiFi becoming unstable and the WiFi feature become turned off. Nothing short from clearing the Android cache partition, or doing hard factory reset. A software factory reset won't do a thing, be wasting your time. Like you said, It is or was a problem with H96 Pro Plus boxes also. For at least Beelink boxes, this isn't an issue anymore.

Beelink gt1 ultimate 32GB not worthit at all. Too many issues starting with wifi (which frequently turns on/off), graphic issues and freezes quite often. Very disappointed because this issue has been since 6 months and there is no fix yet.

Hi Jesse, i cant complain. All with a 4K resolution shows fine or even 1080p, the only exception is netflix that shows at 480p and that is why i dont recommend these for Netflix intensive users RJ 👍

The AMLogic S912 boxes are about the worst possible Android devices you can buy: Commonly seen MM Firmware issues include: - Darker than normal 1080p picture outputs due to Firmware bugs (not fixed in over 9 months) - Numerous Audio passthrough issues in Kodi - No refresh switching when using Kodi - WiFi problems - Sleep / Wake up problems - The usual tablet App control difficulties due to needing an Air Mouse - Lack of proper Bug fixing Firmware from the cheap device sellers. If a person did not need HDR, a slightly more expensive MINIX U1 craps all over these S912's for overall bug free usage.

Budget boxes, they come with limitations thats the message that i always pass but they are here and people will buy if they fit for what they need. Minix U1 / U9-H are the fastest Pure Android TV Boxes available thats not even a question but double the price of one of these above and for some that will be too much unfortunately for some people Theres a choice for everyone :)

If you're going to drop that much money on another Shitty android box you might as well as buy the nVidia Shield. It is the only one worth more than $100. I bought the Beelink for the price. My M8S Mini II uses the S905X and I have had Zero problems with it.

I respect your opinion but the shield is not the only box above 100$ that is worth it. The U9-H is the fastest Pure Android Box available at the moment and the Wetek Play 2 has a lot of great features both with a great support so there is a lot of choice besides the Shield 😀
