Hello Jack! I just got my non-beer can chicken off my Camp Chef pellet smoker. It is delicious. I used water, salt and pepper in the container, since I don't drink. Love it.

hey jack, regarding the beer can chicken; would you be interested in making a video with 2 chickens and the beer cans method, one with liquid and the other empty to compare the difference? thanks.

If you use Pecan pellets it will give your chicken a nutty flavor and turn the chicken Chocolate Brown in Color. I use a Chicken Rub or 1/4 cup of Yellow Mustard and a 1/4 cup of Soy Sauce and put the Chicken in a 1 Gallon Ziploc bag for 8 hours with the aide of an Onion in the neck of the Chicken.

Great looking chicken jack! Just a couple tips you can try when you do your next one.. I like to try and find a small potato or onion to seal the neck cavity so it holds in more flavor. I also like to season the inside of the bird with a little bit of the rub. Also what kind of olive oil was that? I don't think I've seen any that dark green before.

My grandpa used to make a killer "beer butt chicken" when I was a kid. He stuck a can of beer in the chickens butt and put it on a slow rotisserie over a fire. The beer would go in the chicken when the can was at the top and back into the can when it made it to the bottom heating it up. I gotta try it out myself sometime.

Hi Jack! Still love all your videos but I wanted to tell you that I was a bit tired of all this promotional videos about brands who send you stuff like Traeger. I know you can make the recipe even without the brand stuff, but I kind of miss simple and good recipes without a all lot of material involved. Hope you can keep that in mind, even though it's only my opinion. Thanks and keep up the good stuff! Peace.

John Matrix Sadly the ways of KZbin are changing, and food costs are rising. Sometimes promotional items help offset the production costs. I would much rather be introduced to new products, then have to pay a subscription fee.
@jessedeck1319 жыл бұрын
FUN COOKING CHANNEL I understand that and I agree with you on that point. But I think the production costs of jack's show arent really expansive. I mean, it's only a camera in his kitchen and buying the ingredients and most of the time, it's regular food that him and his family are gonna eat afterwards... So I guess it depends on the youtube channels. For Jack, I don't think this is necessary.

John Matrix Keep in mind any food he buys is a tax write off. Any meal he eats for jackonthego is a write off. It's all business expenses. It doesn't take much to keep this channel running, it's just that Jack's trying to take the steps to do this as a career.
@jeffstanley45939 жыл бұрын
Tyler Moose I wish that I was as smart as Jack as to have a tax write off on my food. I would be so eating on something besides Hamburger Helper. Oh yeah, I found a better food product compared to HH. It is Kraft Velveeta Skillet Dinners. NO, I am not a Kraft employee or stockholder, it is simply better.

Jonathan Kirby It goes beyond ammusing, he's reviewing stuff, a paid memember on youtube and can't get basic stuff like this correct. You don't even have to be a drinker to know beer and cider aren't the same thing. It wasn't even a slip of the tongue, just clueless. Love the secretly arsey dig at people who called him out on his under-cooked chicken in an earlier video, pre-warning that the meat will be pink because it's smoked. Then it it's not pink at all. It's fully cooked, still moist, smoked but not pink (because it wasn't under-cooked unlike the video in which you're quietly having a go at your subscribers who pointed it out).

I really like your product reviews but let me warn you, honesty will get you fewer freebies. Too many negatives and potential sponsors will not send you a freebie. You will end up buying the product to review it. I do not know if you are at the stage to pay for the product to review. If it is going to suck, you are totally at a loss. Great vids and so much better with the homespun effects.
