I'm from Perú. There are many similarities within ancient indian culture and our culture. In the megalithic ruins in Perú, you can find "intihuatanas" which look really like Shiva Lingams, they are situated always in temple or priviledged areas. Modern history says they are sun watches ..... But they lie all the time.

In India, in Sanskrit (the source of most Indo-European languages), the word "Itihaas" means earlier knowledge or history. "Itihas" jumped into my mind when I read your "Intihuatanas". In my mind, perhaps Intihuatanas refers to relics or symbols of earlier knowledge (history). That would explain the connection between India and "Patal Lok" i.e the "Land Below". On a globe, India and South America are below each other. 😊😊😊

Im from Srilanka 🇱🇰 Firstly its true ramayan "lanka" is not precent day Sri Lanka but in the ancient time it was called as "ata lanka" or "Continent of lanka" and preset day sri lanka is part of it. The "ata lanka" located in the area of Srilanka + Australia + Madagascar. This is also known as "Atlantis " in modern day and it was a continent in ancient time. As examples lot of mythical creachers such as "garunda", "Makara", "Ethkanda lihiniya" are part of our culture. U can see those animals in "makara thorana" and "sandakada pahana" placed in srilankan buddhist temple entrance. And u can find lot of evidance in srilankan old buddhist temples. Nevertheless in ancient time there were 3 types of "gothra" in srilanka it mean "clans". Which are "YAKSHA", "DHEVA" and " NAAGA" Those are simple things which all of srilankans known. There are lot of places in here which related to the story of RAVANA. Such as "alakamanda" the palace of RAVANA which called "SIGIRIYA" Today. RAVANA'S VIMANA (space craft) parking place and communication center "PIDURANGALA", world's one of star gate also located in "Ranmasu uyana" and many more. If you are a true historical evidence seeker plz collect some info from srilankan culture also. Plz Don't depend on ur own findings. See the story from others perspectives also. Ata - Lanka > Atlantis > Ata + lantis(land). Totally legit. The term "atlas" has been used to describe a collection of maps since the 16th century when Flemish geographer Gerardus Mercator published his work in honor of the mythological Titan. A collection of map could also means a collection of different lands, maybe once united.

Sand dunes maybe now.... giving a little credit to geology......there is a chemical-physical -mechanical process something called weathering. I've been following Graham Hancock since the 90's with Heaven's Mirror. Knowing how well he researches this topic he is aware of Mr Oak's work and is gathering as much data as he can so he can present it fully. He's probably waiting for an opportunity in his own schedule where he can speak directly to Mr Oak. What I like about Graham Hancock is that goes directly to the source and gets the best information possible. I heard this episode again after 6 months, I am now convinced what Nilesh is narrating with facts & figures. I started hearing again by removing lenses of spect which I was wearing because of the knowledge I gathered by reading our Hindu scriptures. I being an engineer like Nilesh & Ranveer, I strongly believe in scientific calculations. The analogy & analysis based on the historical happenings held in past which Nilesh has pointed out, it seems that Nilesh is right ! That was Brilliant! Look forward to the next episode. He reminds me of an updated Shri P.N. Oak who wrote a book called 'World Vedic Heritage' in the late 1970s anticipating this work by Nilesh Oak by around 45 years now. P.N. Oak was also an astrologer. His dating of Ramayan was a similar 12,000 years back. He was a journalist and worked with Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose in the INA and later turned historian who first put forward the idea that the Taj Mahal was originally a Shiva Temple. He was seen as some kind of crank at that time, however now most people believe that he was not so far off the mark as originally thought to be and in fact far more likely to be entirely correct. His other aspersions with regard to a Europe with vedic roots is echoed today by the satt ology channel, and Professor Kusumlata Kedia who has done a series of talks on europe on that channel. With regard to South America, I recommend a book called 'Hindu America' by Bhiksu Chaman lal, which is available as a freely downloadable pdf on the net. Just google for it.

@sibis659 I'm totally aware of that and told him myself. However his work on Taj etc has little to do with language. The only linguistic reference he made was as to the purists use of the z sound as opposed to the J sound. I didn't make much of this initially. But after meeting my Pakistani partner who was a proud urduist, it soon became apparent as to how much importance the z as opposed to the j sounds are to urdu speakers. Then when I reencountered Mr Oaks statements on Taj as opposed to Taz, the whole thing made far more sense to me. Sometimes people are just off the mark, but their overall contribution should never be dismissed.

@@grizzii2149 India is a British creation..and yet people talk about Indian culture.. What does Kashmir have in common with Tamils or Manipuris? As far as texts, Iliad and Odyssey are fiction possibly inspired loosely by actual events. Similarly, I am sure Mahabharata and Ramayan might have a kernel of historical truth but that does not mean everything written in there is fact. Game of Thrones, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter are popular works and you can find some truth in there..but that does not mean everything in those books is factual.

For example there's this kingdom in India shatakarnis and they've had historical records with fictional touch but then archeologists have recovered the age and the king who ruled it and have even considered tourists notes to get the truth so after all there's truth in those records so why can't we research? whats wrong in digging truth from scripts?

The knowledge he possesses and the research he has done is just mind blowing. This is BIG! But the sad part is that no matter how much scientific proof he provides, the world mainstream academia won't agree with him and probably label him as a "pseudo" intellectual. Inspite of all that, I would love to read his books and hear him talk more. Dont wanna miss out on all the knowledge he has to offer .🙂

Goosebumps 😮 I am from Garhwal region of Uttarakhand and we worship NAGA(snakes) a lot, different types of snakes . Our ancestors told us stories about how we all are naagwanshi and migrated here .Smiliar to the story Dr.oak is telling about Nagas migrating into different directions

A Sri Lankan here, just to add some insight to Mr. Oak, Sri Lanka for the most part in its history was never called Lanka. It was called as Thambapanni, Sihaladeepa, Thammana n etc. However tho in Sri Lanka, number of forklores that associate with Ravana is just infinite, so what I think Lanka should have been a larger land than what it is today but after all the geomorphological activities took place its just the part of Lanka we call Sri Lanka remains today.

As a Sri Lankan myself, I concur that Sri Lanka was never originally referred to as Lanka. Its true name, Hela Dive, later evolved into Sihala or Sinhala Dive. Building upon your point, confusion arose in Southern India when merchants began arriving at the port of Trincomalee, known as Ilanguthurai (Port Settles Down), in the 12th century, mistaking it for Lanka. It wasn't until the 1970s, under Srima's leadership, that the name was changed to Sri Lanka, unfortunately bringing with it what some perceive as bad luck to our country. The presence of places associated with Ravana among Sri Lankans stems from a large migration from Ancient Lanka when the Maldives submerged into the ocean, carrying with it myths to both Sri Lanka and Southern India. In Northern Kerala, people known as Theeyars (Islanders) originally migrated from the Maldives and settled there, distinguishing themselves from settlers from Hela Dive, who were called Eezhavas, the Dravidian name for Hela Dive.

@@samanthiperera1007 None of these places are recorded in ancient Sinhalese records or literature! These were came into existence during only Kandy rulers because of their deep connections with Nayak Rulere of South India who were staunch Vaishnavists
